Ill tried to do better with your helpfull idea thank you very much by the way. You are not a bad artist! your stuff seems good as well.

Eeeyup, I know it can be really hard to take a good picture of our drawing if we do not have the proper material x3. It is a pity because I find that you have done well the position of the dragon ^.=.^! Oh and ventral scales, is it my other comment that gives you the idea >.w.<?

Keep it up =3!

Well my very first vorepic! I did this picture as a gift for the very talented artist Avezola.I focused on head and belly. Criticism is welcome.

No problem. Your artwork so far is really good and I look forward to seeing more when you have time.

Thank you very much for that detailed criticism. i try to change it when i draw my next picture. but im realy unskilled up to now and i have nearly no time to draw, damn grammar school. So i hope you wont be too disappointed that it will take some time untill i upload the next picture. Thank you for that fav :) its my 5th one

Very nice, but as you specifically asked for criticism...

The anatomy is pretty good but the back legs could use some more work. The thighs seems too long in comparison to the calves and feet, also the lines around there look a little stiff, particularly on the heel and arch of the foot. The front legs and wing structure are much better.

The outlines are a bit faint, but given that you used a camera for this, you must have done a lot of work to tidy it up. If you look through the menus you might be able to find something called autolevels or autocontrast, it's been a while since I used photoshop so I can't really remember, but this might help save some time with cleaning the image.

The scales look like they took an enormous amount of work and definitely add to the detail of the picture, but they would look better if they followed the flow of the dragon's body. This is particularly noticeable on the dragon's legs (where instead of pointing downwards, and following on from it's body, they are parallel to it's torso) and on the tail (where, if some of the tail was not off the end, there would be a point where scales going in one direction met with those going in the other).

The shading is really good. The dragon looks 3D, all the light and shadows on it seem consistent and the bulge has a clear shape to it without looking like the predator is made of latex. My only suggestion would be to make the shadow cast by it's head a little bigger and blurrier. The head is coming towards the viewer and the further an object is from the surface it casts a shadow on, the bigger and fuzzier the shadow gets.

The head is pretty good, but the shape of the eyes is too simple. The bottom of the eye can be roughly a smooth curve but the top line should curve sharply upwards at the start and then taper off to join the bottom line. I haven't explained that very well, sorry.

Finally, going back to the legs. The dragon's left front left is to the right of it's right front leg (which makes it look like it is facing towards the viewer), but the left front leg is to the left of the right leg (which makes it look like it is facing away). In general if someone's left and right are reversed compared to your own then they are facing you, if the match then they are facing away.

Sorry to have posted so much, but you draw your dragons in a similar way to me so I can see what I would have done differently. Despite the amount of things I've picked at, I really like the picture and am definitely watching you to see what else you draw.

Aaaaaahhhhh ahahah well I did not expect that XD! Keep maybe that trick x3

thank you for the clear citicism! Well i this picture is a photo. And my camera isn`t quite well so it got quite gray!I had to work some time with Photoshop to remove any failures of that camera! the "shadows" are the not removed earlier background colour. But they are thought to seem like shadows!
