Thought I'd try something a bit different with this one. No dialogue, only inner monologue.
In addition, the disposal is very toned down, only really implied, which is unusual for my tastes. I might change it, I'm not sure, the ending seems abrupt.

Well, this is my first story. First story I've written in a long time, since high school, maybe 15 years ago, so I'd definitely appreciate some feedback, so I can improve.

Thanks. Generally as a rule I try not to use the same descriptors more than once in a short time, but it's something I have to watch for, as it's pretty easy to do without noticing.
