was a cute little raccoon lady, just past four feet tall. She was
wide in the way those beast-people tended to be, broad of hip and
ample of bosom, with sleek gray fur, darker hands (and presumably
feet), an an adorable bandit-mask and white whiskers. Jared wasn't
picky about his ladyfriends' species, the way some were; he wouldn't
have minded seeing her across a dinner table, or dancing, or maybe
even in a more private venue.

Umbra stood barely
six feet tall and weighed but two hundred pounds; for a gul female,
quite small. Her lover Gaaren stood a foot taller and twice her
weight, his rich brown fur a contrast to her near black. In any
contest with weapons he beat her nearly every time; he was bigger,
stronger, and better trained, which more than offset her superior
speed.

The lion was only slightly, if at all larger than
normal, yet it was swallowing the armored man whole.  Radiz
watched wide-eyed for a moment, then looked for a way out of the
room.
He glanced upward, but he'd heard the trapdoor
snick shut and was unsurprised to find no escape route there.  A
crack in the floor on the far side of the room was perhaps large
enough, but the stains around it and the smell meant it was likely
the lion's toilet.  Near that on the wall

``I'm not so sure about this,'' Rurik rumbled.

``Oh, you big chicken!'' Breeze chirped. They were fresh out of the bathing pool, with warm water dripping out of their fur onto the absorbent straw mat. Like the last time they shared this little room, both were naked and aroused; Rurik's shaft hung heavy and hard from its sheath and the otter's stood out from his pelt as well.

A day at the baths

Rurik stank, and he knew it.

Gul are smelly at the best of times. Even fresh out of a bath, fur dried and brushed into order, there is a certain weaselly musk. Rurik was a month from his last bath, and for most of that time he'd worn armor. The accumulated sweat of weeks matted his fur and stiffened the gambeson that served as padding under the metal.

The monstrosity loomed over the city wall, laughing as arrows bounced off its black armor.  A few shots struck its exposed face, but they merely stuck in the thick, furry hide, causing no obvious pain.  A swing of the creature's many-chained flail cleared a section of rampart of defenders, and the other hand reached over the wall.  The hand alone was as large as the horse and rider it closed on. Foot-long white claws could have rent the horse and its rider despite their armor, or the colossal

The Three Brothers
By Strega
October 29th, 2007
Once there were three brothers riding through the woods. They were returning from a night in the town of Dyvers, and had done so well at the gambling tables that they laughed and joked. As they handed around the wineskin the youngest brother noticed they were passing a small farm. Through the farm ran a little stream, and next to the stream was a plump little praka-woman, fishing.
If she had stood up the top of her head would hardly pass the talles

Tanya appears in this story with the permission of her player.
Shakar normally loved going on patrol. It got him out of the castle, and there was always the chance of a nice, bloody fight with orcs or some other marauders intruding on the Maker's fiefdom. Now, though, he swore with feeling. He'd been picked for a patrol, and this time he wasn't happy about it.
He was a gul, the Maker's name for the humanoid race created from g

The Ring and the Raccoon: a story set in the Maker's castle

The fortress squats on a hill, dark and nearly windowless. A flat-topped cylinder surrounded by six outlying towers is in turn surrounded by a dry, stone-lined moat. A narrow drawbridge leads to a bronze-studded door, and the towers are pierced by crossletted arrow slits. The only other visible entrance is on a taller, thinner central tower. A crenelated balcony surrounds this a
