The mission had been long and arduous, days filled with challenges and battles that had pushed her to her limits. Viper, weary but resolute, finally found herself returning to the village. The sun dipped toward the horizon, painting the sky with fiery hues of red and orange, signaling that nightfall was near. Her serpentine body glided effortlessly along the dirt path, her movements graceful yet deliberate as she pressed forward, eager to reach the sanctuary of the village before dark.

As she slithered onward, she came upon a crossroads. One path led straight ahead, a route she recognized, while the other veered off to the side, shrouded in mystery. Viper paused, her forked tongue flicking out instinctively, tasting the air for signs of danger. She didn’t remember this side path, and her curiosity began to gnaw at her. Against her better judgment, she turned down the unfamiliar road, determined to uncover what lay beyond.

The path was overgrown with bushes and brambles, their branches clawing at her scales as she maneuvered through the undergrowth. Eventually, she emerged into a clearing where an old, decrepit house stood. The structure looked like it had been abandoned for years, its wooden frame sagging with age and neglect. The sight made her hesitate—part of her urged her to turn back, but another part, the part that thrived on the thrill of discovery, pushed her forward.

She approached cautiously, her body coiled and ready to strike at the first sign of danger. The door creaked as she nudged it open with her snout, and she slid inside, her eyes adjusting to the dim light filtering through the cracked windows. The house was eerily quiet, the only sounds coming from the occasional creak of the floorboards beneath her scales and the faint rustle of the wind outside.

Her tongue flickered rapidly as she explored the hallway, eventually stopping at a door that seemed in better condition than the rest. Intrigued, she pushed it open and slipped inside. The scene before her was entirely unexpected.

The room was filled with snakes—large, elegant serpents of various hues, their scales shimmering in the dim light. Some lounged in coils, chatting and laughing amongst themselves, their voices light and carefree. Others were engaged in activities far more sinister. Viper’s eyes widened as she took in the sight of a python coiled tightly around a struggling human, its jaws stretching impossibly wide to accommodate the man’s shoulders.

The human, desperate to escape, had almost reached the door where Viper stood, but the python struck before he could make it. With a single, powerful motion, the snake enveloped his head and shoulders, silencing his cries. Viper could only watch in a mix of horror and fascination as the python’s body constricted, drawing the human deeper into its maw.

The room was alive with similar scenes. Some snakes took their time, savoring the struggle of their prey, while others had hypnotized their victims into a docile state, swallowing them without resistance. The sight of it all left Viper stunned. She couldn’t look away from the python as it took a final, deliberate gulp, the bulge of its meal sliding smoothly down its body. The snake let out a satisfied sigh, her stomach visibly shifting as it began the slow process of digestion.

The python turned her gaze toward Viper, her eyes narrowing slightly as she approached with an air of confidence. She stopped just in front of the newcomer, her voice soft and welcoming.

“I don’t remember seeing you before,” she said, her tone teasing. “Are you new, sweetie?”

Viper’s tongue flicked nervously, her body instinctively coiling tighter. “I—yes, I am,” she stammered, unable to tear her gaze away from the python’s still-moving stomach.

The python smiled, a glint of amusement in her eyes. “Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Saphira. Welcome to the House of Vore.” She gestured grandly to the room, where more snakes were busy indulging in their meals. “What’s your name, darling?”

“Viper,” she managed to say, her voice barely audible over the muffled sounds of digestion that filled the room.

Saphira nodded approvingly. “Viper, hm? Such a fitting name. Follow me, dear. I’d love to introduce you to the others.”

With a graceful motion, Saphira began to slither away, weaving effortlessly through the room. Viper hesitated for a moment, glancing nervously at the other snakes, but curiosity won out, and she followed. The other serpents barely noticed her presence, too engrossed in their own meals to pay her any mind.

Saphira led Viper to a group of snakes lounging in a corner. They turned their attention to the newcomer, their eyes glinting with interest.

“Girls,” Saphira announced, her voice playful, “look who I found. Her name is Viper, and she’s new here.”

The group collectively leaned forward, their gazes sweeping over Viper’s slender form. One of them, a cobra with striking black and gold scales, grinned slyly. “She’s adorable,” the cobra cooed. “Look at that body—she’s never eaten a human before, has she?”

Viper flushed under their scrutiny, wrapping her body around herself in an attempt to appear smaller. “I haven’t,” she admitted softly, feeling a mix of shame and curiosity at the revelation.

The cobra laughed, her tone light and teasing. “Oh, we’ll have to change that, darling. No snake in this house should go hungry.” She slithered closer, her movements deliberate and hypnotic. “My name is Tonka,” she said, her voice warm. “I’ve been here for almost five years. What brings you to our little haven?”

“I was... wandering,” Viper said, her voice barely above a whisper. “I didn’t know a place like this existed.”

Tonka’s eyes sparkled with amusement. “Almost no one does. Only those who visit it know the truth.” She circled Viper slowly, her tail brushing against the newcomer’s scales. “I hope Saphira didn’t scare you. She may look intimidating, but trust me, she’s a sweetheart.”

Viper shook her head quickly. “No, she didn’t scare me,” she said. “She just seemed so... calm.”

Tonka chuckled, her voice filled with warmth. “That’s because she’s well-fed, dear. Humans make our scales shine like nothing else. They’re the perfect meal—packed with all the nutrients we need.”

Viper’s gaze flicked to the other snakes, watching as they swallowed their prey with ease, their scales shimmering in the dim light. Despite her apprehension, she couldn’t deny the allure of the lifestyle they described. As Tonka circled her again, the cobra’s voice dropped to a soft purr.

“You’ll understand soon enough, Viper,” Tonka said, her smile widening. “Every snake here does eventually.”

Tonka’s soft laugh filled the air, her demeanor playful as she lowered her head to Viper’s height, fixing her with a calm yet mischievous gaze. “Oh, Saphira is usually very calm,” Tonka said with a giggle. “Except when she’s hungry.”

The statement hung in the air, both reassuring and teasing, as Tonka let her tail drift provocatively across Viper’s lips, earning a visible shiver from the younger snake. The gesture was playful, yet it carried an undertone of something more primal. Tonka chuckled softly.

“You’re a viper,” she said, tilting her head slightly. “Your bite will make things much easier for you here. Of course, sometimes it’s more fun to let them fight, don’t you think?”

Tonka’s gaze sparkled with intrigue as she stepped back, allowing Viper a moment to process her surroundings. Her voice softened into a tempting lilt. “Would you like us to bring you something to eat so you can get a taste for it...?”

Viper’s body tensed at the suggestion, her mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. The idea of consuming a human sent a chill down her scales, yet something deep within her stirred—a mix of instinct and morbid curiosity. Her forked tongue flicked out nervously as she struggled to respond.

“Don’t worry, dear,” Tonka added, her voice gentle and reassuring. “If you’re not ready, there’s no pressure. Everyone here moves at their own pace.”

Tonka began to slither toward the door Viper had entered through, but Viper’s voice cut through the air, shaky but determined. “Wait,” she said, barely above a whisper. “I... I want to try.”

Tonka turned back toward her with a pleased smile, clearly proud of the courage her new acquaintance had mustered. “In that case,” she said, her voice full of encouragement, “let’s not waste any time. It’s time for you to enjoy your first meal.”

The words sent a ripple of anticipation through the room. With a flick of her tail, Tonka gestured to another door. It creaked open, revealing a massive anaconda coiled around a struggling man. The human’s muffled cries echoed through the air as the anaconda slithered forward, depositing its captive before Viper. The scent of fear filled the room, sharp and intoxicating.

Tonka watched intently, her voice calm and instructive. “I recommend you start by injecting a little venom. It will make things easier—and more enjoyable for you.”

Viper hesitated, her instincts warring with her fear. Slowly, she approached the helpless human, her fangs bared. With a swift strike, she bit into his neck, delivering a measured dose of venom. The man’s struggles weakened as paralysis took hold, his breathing shallow and his eyes wide with terror.

“Not too much now,” Tonka cautioned with a grin. “You don’t want to kill it. That ruins the flavor.”

Viper pulled back, watching as the man’s body went limp, his limbs twitching faintly. Her heart pounded as she began to coil around him, her muscles tightening instinctively. The sensation of his warmth against her scales sent a thrill through her. Slowly, she lifted him, his weight surprisingly manageable.

“Take your time,” Tonka encouraged, her gaze never leaving Viper. “No one will take your meal away. Enjoy it.”

The man’s muffled breaths quickened as Viper opened her jaws, her mouth stretching wider than she thought possible. She hesitated for only a moment before guiding his head into her maw. The sensation was strange—his skin was warm and smooth, and his body resisted slightly as she began to swallow.

Her muscles worked instinctively, pulling him deeper inch by inch. She felt the lump of his form bulging her throat, a visible testament to her meal’s progression. The human twitched weakly as he descended, the venom dulling his senses but leaving him fully aware of his fate.

The room seemed to grow quieter, the other snakes watching with approval as Viper took her time. Each gulp brought him closer to her stomach, his body folding to fit her frame. Finally, with one last swallow, he slipped entirely into her belly, leaving her feeling full in a way she’d never experienced before.

Her stomach gurgled in protest as it stretched to accommodate its contents. Tonka and the anaconda both laughed softly, clearly amused. “Well done,” Tonka said, her voice warm. “How does it feel?”

“It’s... strange,” Viper admitted, her voice filled with awe. She could feel the man inside her, his faint movements sending ripples through her flesh. Her stomach worked tirelessly, its rhythmic gurgling a constant reminder of the meal it now processed.

Tonka nodded knowingly. “It’s always a bit shocking at first, but trust me—it’s worth it. Once your body starts breaking it down, you’ll feel better than you ever have.”

She gestured to a nearby snake, its body coiled loosely as it napped. Its stomach bulged with the outline of its meal, the human inside still faintly writhing as it was digested. Viper stared, fascinated and slightly horrified. “It’s... mesmerizing,” she murmured.

Tonka smiled. “Soon, your body will tell you it’s time to sleep. It takes a lot of energy to digest a meal like that.” Her gaze softened as she began to slither away. “Feel free to explore a bit before you settle in.”

Viper nodded, her body heavy with drowsiness but her mind alight with curiosity. As she moved through the halls, the sounds of digestion and faint human cries echoed around her. She passed doors slightly ajar, catching glimpses of other snakes with their meals, each scene more surreal than the last.

Finally, she found a quiet room with a soft, inviting nest in the corner. The plush material beckoned her, and she curled up, resting her head on her full stomach. The gurgling of digestion filled her ears as her body relaxed into the cushions.

Inside her, the venom’s effects wore off, and the human began to stir, his movements weak but frantic. Viper’s stomach responded, tightening and churning with renewed vigor. She felt his struggles, but they only added to the warmth spreading through her as she drifted into a deep, satisfied sleep.

As the first light of dawn crept into the room, the young viper stirred awake, stretching lazily. Her belly gurgled loudly, the sloshing of its contents a reminder of her previous night’s conquest. Inside, the human’s movements were growing weaker, his struggles fading as digestion took hold.

A soft knock at the door interrupted her thoughts, followed by Tonka’s gentle voice. “May I come in, sweetheart?”

“Come in,” the viper murmured groggily, shifting slightly to greet her visitor. Tonka slithered inside, her lips curled into a proud smile.

“How are you feeling?” Tonka asked, her voice warm with curiosity. “Is he still fighting?”

The viper gave a small yawn before responding, “Morning, Tonka. He’s still moving, but barely. He’s almost mine.” To emphasize her point, her stomach gurgled loudly, eliciting an approving smile from Tonka.

“That’s wonderful,” Tonka said, reaching out with the tip of her tail to gently touch the viper’s bulging belly. “Your body knows exactly what it’s doing. When you’re ready, feel free to join us in the main room. Saphira and I will be waiting.”

“Thank you,” the viper replied, her voice soft. “I think I’ll rest a little longer first.”

Tonka nodded and left, her tail swaying as she disappeared down the corridor. The viper curled back into her nest, content to let her body continue its work. She could feel the human’s movements slowing further, his resistance growing fainter until, by late morning, the last faint heartbeat stilled.

Her prey was finally hers.

The young viper stretched and rose from her nest, her body feeling heavy yet satisfied. Her stomach still gurgled faintly, busy with the final stages of digestion. The lump in her belly had softened, but the warmth and fullness remained. She slithered outside, basking in the sunlight that warmed her scales and further aided her digestion.

Throughout the day, the gurgles softened as her stomach steadily processed the meal. The human’s shape faded, reduced to an unrecognizable mass being pumped through her intestines. Occasionally, she passed other snakes, their bloated bellies making similar noises as they lounged contentedly.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, she returned to her nest. Her belly had shrunk, but it was noticeably plumper, a sign of the nourishment she’d gained. That night, her body completed its task, packaging the last remnants of her meal for expulsion.

By dawn, the viper awoke with a surge of energy. A distinct pressure under her tail signaled her body’s readiness to expel the waste. She left her room and made her way outside, seeking a private spot to relieve herself.

After a short search, she found a secluded area near a large rock. Coiling herself comfortably, she relaxed and began to push. Rhythmic contractions expelled the remains of her meal, the dark waste forming a pile beneath her. Among the excrement, fragments of bone were visible, the skull standing out as the most notable piece.

She gazed at the pile, a sense of pride welling within her. The human had been a satisfying meal, his energy now fueling her renewed vitality.

Returning to the house, the viper encountered Tonka near the entrance. The older snake immediately noticed the absence of the lump in her stomach.

“Finished with him already?” Tonka teased, her tone playful.

Viper nodded, a flicker of pride in her eyes. “Yes, he’s given me everything I need for now.”

Tonka chuckled. “Not bad, girl. You’ve got a strong digestive system. When you’re ready for more, let me know. The others are already working on their next meals.”

With that, Tonka slithered past her, disappearing around a corner.

The viper preened at Tonka’s words, her forked tongue flicking out to taste the air. “I will,” she murmured. “But for now, I think I’ll explore the woods. All this energy has me eager to move.”

With a final glance at the house, she turned and headed toward the forest, the sunlight glinting off her scales as she disappeared into the trees.

Viper made her way to the Jade Palace, her sleek body gliding effortlessly along the cobblestone path. The crisp morning air was refreshing, and the palace loomed ahead, its vibrant green tiles shimmering in the sunlight.

Upon arriving, she spotted Monkey and Crane near the training grounds, engaged in a casual conversation. Their laughter echoed faintly until they noticed her approach.

“Viper!” Monkey exclaimed, his expression shifting to one of concern. “Are you okay? You’ve been gone for about two days. We were starting to worry—you were just supposed to be on a quick mission.”

Crane nodded in agreement, his sharp gaze flicking over her. There was something different about her—perhaps the slight fullness in her usually slender form—but he chose not to comment.

Viper coiled herself neatly in front of them, her demeanor calm and poised. “I’m perfectly fine, Monkey,” she replied with a serene smile. “Thank you for your concern. I did encounter a slight… detour, but everything is resolved now.”

Monkey raised a brow but didn’t press further. “Well, we’re just glad you’re safe. Next time, send a message or something, yeah? We were about to send Tigress after you.”

Viper chuckled softly, a musical sound. “Noted, Monkey. I appreciate the thought.”

The conversation shifted to lighter topics, and Viper effortlessly steered it away from her absence, offering updates on the mission’s success and listening to their stories. After some time, she excused herself, slithering gracefully into the palace.

Inside, the familiar quiet of the Jade Palace greeted her. The polished floors reflected her movements as she made her way to her chambers. Though her outward composure remained unshaken, her mind wandered briefly to the events of the past two days—a secret she intended to keep to herself. For now, all that mattered was the present, and she let the palace’s tranquility settle over her.

Viper deftly steered the conversation away from her absence, her tone light and inquisitive. She asked Monkey and Crane about any notable events or changes at the palace while she had been gone, carefully masking her unease. They obliged, sharing the latest palace gossip and updates. Their chatter, though mundane, provided a welcome distraction from the secret Viper carried.

After some time, she excused herself with a polite smile and retreated into the quiet sanctuary of the palace halls.

Throughout the day, Viper mingled with her comrades. She had a casual chat with Tigress, who vented about Po’s antics. “He’s such a pain sometimes,” Tigress admitted with a rare smirk, “but... he’s endearing, in his own way.”

Viper laughed, her melodic voice filling the air. “Sounds like Po, alright. At least he keeps things interesting.”

The hours passed pleasantly, punctuated by moments of laughter and camaraderie. Later, Viper dedicated herself to training. She pushed her limits, practicing her strikes, dodges, and graceful maneuvers. Her movements were sharp and fluid, her body energized by the strength she had gained. The rigorous session left her feeling both exhilarated and grounded.

As the day faded into night, the moon cast its silver glow across the palace. Exhausted yet satisfied from nearly three hours of training, Viper finally allowed herself a moment to rest. But as the others retired for the night, she slipped quietly through the empty hallways.

Under the cover of darkness, Viper made her way to the exit, her destination clear. The familiar path led her back to the house she had visited before.

At the door, Saphira stood under the moonlight, her gaze fixed on the stars above. Hearing the soft hiss of Viper’s approach, Saphira turned, her serene expression warming into a gentle smile.

“Welcome back,” Saphira said calmly. "You seem... lighter in both spirit and body."

Viper slithered closer, her movements smooth and graceful as ever. She nodded, though her gaze remained distant for a moment, as if contemplating something hidden beneath the surface.

"It was... a productive day," Viper replied, her voice steady but carrying a hint of something deeper, something unspoken. "I managed to keep my focus. No one suspects anything."

Saphira studied her closely, her sharp eyes catching the subtle shift in Viper’s demeanor. She raised an eyebrow, as if she could sense the weight of the secret still lingering. "I can tell you’re still thinking about it," she said softly. "But that’s for another time, if you’re ready to talk."

Viper gave a small smile, a mixture of appreciation and wariness. "I will when the time comes. But for now, let’s not dwell on it. There’s enough time to figure things out later."

Saphira nodded, a knowing look in her eyes. "Of course. But remember, you don't have to carry it alone." She stepped aside, her gaze briefly flicking to the open door behind her, inviting Viper inside. "For now, come in. I have a feeling tonight might bring more than just rest."

Viper hesitated for a moment, the moonlight casting a soft glow over her scales. She had spent so much time hiding pieces of herself, guarding the truth even from those closest to her. But something in Saphira’s presence made it easier to breathe. Maybe tonight, in the quiet of the house, there would be room to simply be—without the weight of secrets or the pressure of the past.

With a quiet nod, she slid past Saphira, entering the house. As the door closed behind her, she felt a strange sense of comfort, knowing she wasn't truly alone.

A little while later Tonka arrived from behind, stopping on the opposite side of Saphira and watching the moment with neutrality.

"Saphira... Viper, I hope the night is being comfortable for both of you." Tonka spoke calmly, admiring the place with a serene smile.

"They're all done, we'll sleep tonight and leave at noon tomorrow..." Her words caught Viper's attention, leaving her confused as to whether they were leaving.

Viper turned to Tonka, a hint of curiosity in her voice. "Leave at noon tomorrow? Where are you going, Tonka?" She glanced back at Saphira, wondering if she knew anything about their plans. "Saphira, do you know what Tonka is referring to?"

They both looked at Viper with a calm face, free of worries. And subtly Saphira brought her head closer to Viper's level.

"Tomorrow we will leave this house, and set off for the home of another village. We are nomads, our food source is moving, and we must follow them..." She speaks calmly, trying to relax Viper. Then with a smile she said.

"Would you like to come with us?" Her forked tongue flickered with anticipation at the thought, but Viper hesitated. "Leave the Furious Five?" She paced thoughtfully, though she couldn't deny the allure of a life of freedom and plenty. "But what would I tell my masters... the others?"

"We leave that to your discretion, dear. We are all free at the end of the day, it's just that sometimes we put chains on ourselves to be accepted..." Tonka mentioned in a philosophical way, waiting with Saphira her answer.

Viper paused, considering her words. The idea of endless meals, living among other snakes who understood her true nature... it was tempting. "Can I... think about it?" She asked, genuinely torn between her loyalty to the Furious Five and the promise of freedom here.

"Sure sweetheart. We're leaving tomorrow, so you have time." With night upon them, they both went to sleep, leaving Viper in her room to think about it. A debate with herself that has no end.

Pacing in her room, she debated internally about her decision. Leaving the Furious Five meant leaving behind a certain level of security, but joining this nomadic group offered something more - freedom, understanding, living as nature intended.

Among so many thoughts, her mind slowly fell asleep when she least expected it. The next morning she woke up determined, leaving the room to look for Saphira, wanting to go with them.

Viper step out into the morning light, finding Saphira already packed and ready. Her beautiful scales shimmering in the sunlight, she turns to face Viper with a gentle smile. "Did you make your decision?" She asks softly, knowing that her presence on this journey would be welcome.

Viper's heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and excitement, she takes a deep breath and approach Saphira. "Yes... I've decided to come with you." Her voice is steady, though there's a hint of lingering doubt.

At her words, a smile formed on Saphira's lips, approaching Viper calmly. Until she subtly bumped her head softly against hers.

"Welcome to the group...I reserved breakfast for you, so you can have something in your stomach." Saying that, Tonka arrived, with a human man in her coils, looking around in fear.

Viper watched as Tonka arrives with a human in her coils, the man clearly terrified. She slither closer, her natural predatory instincts kicking in, though she try to suppress them. "What do we have here?" Viper asked Saphira, her eyes fixed on the squirming man.

Relaxing her body so that the man could finally get up, he immediately wanted to run away, but Viper was faster, With a precise movement, she launched herself to bite his neck from behind, forcing him to struggle while the poison began to take effect.

His struggling grows weaker as the venom courses through his veins. She hold him tightly, her fangs embedded in his neck, drinking in the scent of his fear and the sweet odor of the poison.

In no time, the man was paralyzed, ready to be eaten

Viper release her bite, letting the man slump to the ground. Tonka looks at her approvingly, and Saphira watches with a calm gaze. "He'll make a fine meal," Viper says, her hunger growing as she saw the paralyzed human.

With her stomach growling in anticipation, she capture his head in her mouth, beginning to swallow slowly.

As she swallow the man whole, her stomach distending to accommodate the meal, she felt content. Her natural instincts are satisfied. A few drops of saliva fell to the ground.

Saphira and Tonka calmly admired the scene until she finished, with a bulging belly.

It was finally time to leave, as Viper was sliding down the path, she couldn't help but look back, catching sight of the jade palace in the distance.

She paused for a moment, looking back one last time at the Jade Palace - the place that was once her home, now feeling strangely distant. A mix of feelings churn within her - gratitude for the life she had there, but also a sense of relief for the freedom in front of her.

Viper didn’t give herself the pleasure of saying goodbye to them, as she could have. She was leaving everything behind to start a life as a predator, and she wasn’t going to change her mind.

As she moved forward, the sun shone brightly, aiding her movement and, in turn, digestion. Inside her, her prey lost the effects of the poison and began to struggle, but the walls of her stomach reminded it with a firm grip that it was now nothing more than snake food.

The sun beat down on them as they continued their journey, the warmth helping to speed up digestion. Viper could feel the human inside her squirming and struggling, but it was all in vain. They were trapped, and she was their prison until she was ready to expel them as waste.

After several hours of traveling, they finally arrived at the next village. Instead of going straight to the village, they detoured to another hidden passage, leading to a house in better condition, where a cobra waited outside, greeting them with its tail from a distance.

The cobra raised its tail in greeting as they approached the hidden house. It was a signal that they were expected. As they drew closer, the cobra slithered inside through a small hole in the wall. They followed, entering the house undetected.

Once inside, Saphira went straight to the cobra, greeting her as if they were lifelong friends. After chatting briefly, Tonka joined them, greeting the cobra back. While they conversed, Viper’s eyes explored the interior of the house. It was in better condition than the first one, though it still had that abandoned touch that seemed to characterize these places.

As Viper explored, Tonka came up behind her, calling her over and inviting her to follow. They arrived at the area where Saphira and the other cobra were talking until Viper’s arrival.

"So you are Viper, the famous viper from the Furious Five... it's a pleasure to have you in my home," the cobra said, speaking with slight emotion, smiling widely at Viper.

Viper turned to face the cobra, her eyes narrowing slightly as she took her in. The cobra was well-spoken and seemed to know who she was, which intrigued her. She gave a small nod of her head in greeting. "The pleasure is mine."

"Let me introduce myself," the cobra continued. "My name is Marina, and I am the owner of the Nocturnal Gem House."

Marina’s words sparked curiosity in Viper, which the cobra seemed to notice.

"Just as Saphira is the owner of the Shadow Snake House, I am the owner of Nocturnal Gem. Apart from us, there are many other houses with different owners, but we all know each other," Marina explained, clearing up Viper’s questions with ease.

"Saphira told me that you are the newest to join her group, and that you abandoned your position at the Jade Palace to join her. It may be a little difficult at first, especially when you are already used to that life, but believe me, it is worth it."

Viper listened carefully, a slight tension forming in her coils at the mention of her past at the Jade Palace. The luxury and comfort of her former life stood in stark contrast to this new world of shadows and hidden houses. While she admitted she missed certain aspects of her old life, the new path felt right.

At this, Marina laughed softly, glancing at Viper’s stomach, which was squeezing her meal. "I see you ate recently. Come and rest, we have rooms for everyone."

Marina spoke with determination and started walking down the hall, letting each one take a room. Some preferred to share, while others opted for individuality.

After following her for a while, they arrived at what would be Viper's new room. It was simple yet well-decorated, with a mattress large enough for her to fit comfortably.

After saying goodbye to Marina, Saphira, and Tonka, Viper went to lie down directly, falling heavily on the mattress. She adjusted herself to leave her full belly resting comfortably on the bed, admiring how it tightened around the human inside. Her prey was no longer breathing, and Viper could clearly hear the crunch of bones as her meal was digested.

Sprawled out on the mattress, Viper’s massive body took up most of the space. She felt content simply lying there, digesting her recent meal. The sound of bones crunching in her stomach was soothing, bringing her a sense of satisfaction and security.

The natural rhythm of her body calmed her, and after the exhausting journey, her body urged her to sleep, to dedicate all her energy to digestion. She gave in to the fatigue and quickly fell asleep, letting the symphony of her body relax her. As she slept, her stomach showed no mercy, turning the human into an unrecognizable mass, letting her body absorb every nutrient available.

Slowly but efficiently, her stomach began to shrink, with a new layer of fat forming beneath her scales.

As she slept, her body worked tirelessly to break down the human, absorbing every nutrient it could. Her stomach slowly shrank as it digested the meal, and a new layer of fat began to form beneath her scales, a clear sign of a well-fed snake.

Viper’s dream lasted all night and part of the next day. She woke up full of energy as the sun marked the sunset. Her body looked much better now, slightly thicker than before, with her scales shiny and beautiful in that green color of hers.

Stirring awake as the sun began to set, her body felt rejuvenated and stronger than before. Her scales shimmered in the fading light, and she could feel a new thickness to her body, a result of the rich meal she had consumed the previous night.

As she was waking up, something suddenly entered her room, taking her by surprise and making her hide on the other side of the mattress. When she looked up, it was a human, locking the door to ensure no one could enter. His presence caught her attention—perhaps he had escaped and was looking for refuge. Too bad he had entered the wrong place. Carefully, she slid along the side, avoiding his field of vision until she was behind him, where she quickly wrapped herself around his legs, making him fall in bewilderment. As he saw her, he began to struggle, screaming in terror.

The man spoke in terror, begging her for mercy, but her hunger spoke louder than his words. Carefully, she caught both of his feet in her mouth, keeping her body around him so he couldn't escape, and began to swallow him.

Slowly but surely, she continued to swallow, ignoring the door rattling from the other side. As she reached his chest, she adjusted her body to slide faster, letting his head and arms hang from her salivating mouth.

His head and arms dangled from her mouth as she quickly swallowed the rest of his body. The sounds of muffled screams and struggles grew fainter, while the door continued to rattle. She paid it no mind, focusing on the delicious meal before her.

With a few more swallows, only his arms remained hanging from her mouth, while the rest of his body slid down her throat. With a gentle nudge of her tail, she shoved both arms into her mouth, sealing the meal inside her.

Having her food secured, she moved to the door, opening it calmly and finding Tonka on the other side with a slightly worried expression.

"Hi Viper, did a human happen to enter your room?"

Letting out a small, satisfied hiss, Viper looked up at Tonka with a playful expression. "Oh, hello Tonka... funny story, actually. Yes, there was a human in my room... but he won’t be causing any more trouble now."

"Did you eat him?"

Tonka’s face softened into a calmer expression, her gaze drifting toward Viper’s stomach, where the man was still moving faintly.

Viper glanced at Tonka with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "What makes you ask, my dear? Perhaps I just helped a poor lost soul find their way... permanently."

Tonka laughed at Viper's attitude, relaxing and smiling calmly.

"Well... I’ll have to find another meal then. I’ll leave you, Viper. I'm hungry, haha."

Tonka walked away, leaving Viper to close the door behind her. She stretched out contentedly on the mattress, rubbing her full belly where the man inside was still moving.

Closing the door with a flick of her tail, Viper settled back down, admiring the ever-moving bulge in her belly. "Now that’s what I call a productive afternoon..."

She spent the afternoon pampering her belly, cooing sweetly as the energy from her food slowly faded. Though the man still weakly struggled, his cries were becoming less and less.

As the hours passed, Viper gently massaged her belly, murmuring softly as the man inside weakened. His screams turned into whimpers, then to feeble cries for help that hardly made any sound anymore.

Viper didn't notice as sleep took over, her stomach immediately beginning the hard work of digesting her meal. The screams and whimpers of her prey were drowned out by the constant gurgling of her belly. The next morning, the rays of sunlight filtering through the room woke her, and the first thing she noticed was the stillness of her stomach. There was no movement anymore, just the gurgling and firm squeezes grinding the remains of her meal.

Stretching languidly, a satisfied smile played across her face as her stomach rumbled contentedly below. The once-active lump in her belly was now nothing but quiet digestion—another meal successfully enjoyed. "Ah, what a wonderful morning..."

Viper calmly left her room and made her way down the main hallway to the living room, where everyone typically gathered. Upon entering, she saw many of the snakes, some from her own house, others from the one they were currently staying in. Not far off, she spotted Saphira, with a pair of twitching feet hanging from her mouth. At her side was Marina, holding the head of a man in her mouth, letting him witness his friend's demise before sharing the same fate.

When Viper saw the dangling feet, a smirk spread across her face. Marina's prey, with wide eyes, stared in terror as he watched his friend being swallowed whole.

Saphira and Marina, growing bored of toying with their meals, took a gulp in unison, sending their prey into their stomachs. Their bellies bulged and churned, the snakes hissing contentedly as digestion began.

After dodging some other snakes who were chatting or eating, Viper slipped out of the house and decided to take a stroll. On her walk, she came across Tonka, who was hiding behind some bushes.

Raising an eyebrow, Viper flicked her tongue out curiously. "Tonka," she hissed, "what are you up to?"

Tonka turned toward her, a satisfied expression on her face as she was busy expelling the remains of her last meal. She paused for a moment, distracted by Viper's voice.

"Oh, Viper. What are you doing here?" Tonka asked.

Viper chuckled softly, slithering closer. "Just out for a stroll," she replied, eyeing Tonka's satisfied expression. "Looks like you've had a good meal, though."

"I definitely enjoyed it," Tonka said with a smile, returning her attention to the pile of remains she was burying. She calmly began to cover the broken bones and remnants underground, making sure nothing was left behind.

Viper watched Tonka’s meticulous work, noting the swish of her tail as she finished. Once done, Tonka straightened up, her scales glinting in the sunlight.

Once she was finished, Tonka's gaze turned to Viper, observing her still slightly swollen belly. "Is last night's food still breathing, or is it already yours?" she asked, her tone mischievous.

Viper hissed softly, her belly still bulging from the previous night's meal. "It's almost digested," she replied, her tail swaying gently. "But I'm still feeling quite full." Tonka's inquisitive gaze made her belly rumble in response.

"Have you let the previous one out yet?" Tonka asked with a playful smile.

Viper's scales rumbled as her belly gurgled in response. "Not yet," she admitted. "I was going to do it later today." Her belly churned softly, the remains of her meal shifting inside.

Tonka smiled knowingly. "Well, take advantage of the fact that everyone is busy eating to do it now... later it might be difficult to find a nice place."

Viper’s smile widened as she recognized the clever suggestion. "You're right," she said, shifting her coils to find a comfortable spot nearby. "This could work perfectly..." She moved toward a secluded area, her belly gurgling audibly, already preparing.

Tonka followed from a distance, giving Viper the privacy she wanted. Viper found a spot hidden behind some tall grass, the soft earth providing a good surface. Her scales rippled as her innards prepared to expel the remnants of her meal. "Thanks for the reminder, Tonka," she called out, her voice thick with concentration.

With a soft hiss, Viper relaxed her muscles, letting nature take its course. Her belly contracted violently, and a large, steaming pile of feces emerged from her. It landed with a soft splat, the smell of digested prey filling the air.

As she continued, the pile grew larger and larger. Her tail lashed back and forth, helping to push out the remaining waste. Once finished, she lifted her tail high and gave it a final shake, scattering some of the smaller droppings around.

Viper proudly admired her work before beginning to bury it. Her belly felt significantly lighter as she covered the waste with dirt, ensuring nothing would attract scavengers. The sun warmed her scales as she worked, a contented expression on her face. "That feels much better," she murmured to herself.

The day passed naturally for Viper and the other snakes. After eating, many of them chatted about life or random topics like their favorite positions for eating humans. Viper felt comfortable in this group that accepted her as she was—there was no shame, no fights, only a peaceful atmosphere that was occasionally interrupted by the sound of gurgling bellies.

As the day wore on, the snakes lounged about. Some dozed in the warm sun, while others continued to chat and joke. Every so often, a gentle gurgle would emanate from one of them, a reminder that even in the midst of relaxation, the digestive process never truly stopped.

Viper lay on a rock in the sun, basking in its warmth, when Marina approached with surprising silence until she was right beside her.

"Viper, how are you?" Marina asked softly.

Viper lifted her head slightly, appreciating Marina’s stealthy movement. A soft smile spread across her face. "Hey, Marina... just enjoying the sun," she replied, shifting slightly to make room for her if she wanted to join. "What brings you over here?"

Marina smiled, clearly relaxed, and curled around herself comfortably. "Nothing special... I just came to ask how you feel. Any discomfort?"

Viper gave a reassuring hiss, adjusting her position to face her better. "Not at all... feel fantastic, actually. The sun does wonders for my scales," she stretched languidly, then narrowed her eyes playfully. "But tell me truthfully..."

"Hm? Go ahead..." Marina responded, intrigued.

Viper lifted her belly scales slightly, looking at them quizzically. "Does my belly look distended to you? I feel like it might be a little swollen... Is this normal after a big meal, or is it something else?" she asked, genuinely curious and a bit concerned.

Marina laughed loudly, clearly surprised by the question. "It's normal when you eat a lot, darling. It's called gaining weight. And it usually looks pretty good on us. In some houses, gaining weight shows your experience level or the number of humans you've eaten."

Viper's eyes widened slightly as she processed Marina's words. Then, she chuckled and relaxed her belly scales again. "Well, I suppose that makes sense... I've never really thought about it like that before," she said, puffing out her scales slightly, pleased by the explanation.

After finishing her laugh, Marina rested her head on her body, briefly admiring the sky.

"When you were part of the Furious Five, how difficult was life?" she asked, changing the subject.

Viper’s expression turned thoughtful as she reminisced about her time with the Furious Five. "Life was... intense," she said carefully. "We were always on the move, constantly looking over our shoulders, ready to fight at a moment's notice. It was exhilarating, but also exhausting."

"Did you enjoy it?" Marina asked, curious.

"In a way, yes," Viper admitted, flicking her forked tongue out to taste the air. "The adrenaline, the camaraderie, the thrill of the hunt and the fights... it was exciting."

Marina nodded, then asked, "And do you regret coming to this world?"

Viper’s expression darkened and her body tensed slightly. "Regret," she hissed, her voice taking on a dangerous edge. "Is a strong word. No, I don't regret coming here."

Marina smiled calmly, sensing Viper's conviction. "At first, it may be a bit surprising to see so many snakes swallowing humans... but when you follow the thread, you enjoy every second of that lifestyle..."

Viper felt her tension melt away as Marina’s words resonated with her. There was something about the way she spoke, so calm and understanding, that made Viper feel seen. "Yes..." she whispered, relaxing her scales. "The first time I swallowed someone whole, it felt... wrong somehow."

"But then you enjoyed it, I assume?" Marina asked, her voice almost playful. "Listening to their cries slowly turn into muffled gurgles..."

A dark smile spread across Viper’s face as old memories surfaced. "Oh yes..." she murmured, savoring the recollection. "The feeling of their struggle becoming weaker, their terrified screams turning into helpless gurgles... there’s something utterly satisfying about it."

Marina laughed again, calmer this time, before she said, "I'm glad to know that you enjoyed it. I hope you're comfortable in my home, and if you need help with anything, just let me know."

Viper’s scales shimmered slightly in the sunlight as she turned to face her more directly. "Thank you, Marina. You've been incredibly hospitable," she said warmly, appreciating her openness and support. "And yes, I'm getting more comfortable here every day..."

With a smile, Marina said her goodbyes and left, leaving Viper alone once again. The sun remained where it was during their conversation, casting a peaceful atmosphere over the moment. Viper continued to bask in the warmth, savoring the calmness.

"Perhaps this world isn't so bad after all..." she thought, content as she settled more comfortably on the rock.

Just as you said that, a similar voice sounded behind you, it wasn't Saphira, much less Tonka or Marina... it was a voice you hoped to never hear again, Crane.

What do you mean? This world can't be that bad?

Instantly tense, every scale standing on end as that familiar voice pierced through the relaxed atmosphere. Viper's forked tongue flicked out nervously, tasting the air. That voice... it was unmistakable. "Crane..."

Viper's instinct forced her to turn around, finding her old companion of the Furious Five, he looked somewhat exhausted, with several scrapes on his body.

Remember I'm a crane, my eyes never lie to me.

Crane stood there, his tall, lanky form silhouetted against the sun, his golden eyes fixed unblinkingly on Viper. His normally pristine white feathers were ruffled and stained with dirt and tiny scratches.

What brings you here?

That's what I should ask you, as far as I remember, we weren't allowed to take vacations. And yet I find you here...several miles from the palace.

He spoke in crane, his voice between annoyed and weak, his eyes were fixed on viper, waiting for any kind of reaction.

Viper's yellow eyes narrowed, mirroring Crane's unblinking golden stare. She remained silent for a moment, her forked tongue flicking out to taste the air between them, trying to detect any hidden scents that might explain Crane's unexpected presence.

After your sudden disappearance from the Jade Palace, there were many rumors, most of them bad.

As he spoke, Crane began to walk around Viper, his step slow but firm and calculated.

Is it true that you decided to leave us for some hidden reason?

As Crane circled her, Viper turned her head to follow his movements, her tail slowly swaying behind her. She remained silent, allowing the rumors to hang in the air between them like a thick fog. Crane's golden eyes seemed to search her face for any signs or answers.

Answer me...

Is it true that you decided to leave all of us just because of a dream we are not allowed to have?

His voice slowly turned to a more deppee voice, sounding angry now.

Viper's scales bristled at Crane's tone, but she kept her composure, maintaining eye contact. Her voice came out in a dangerous hiss. "And if I did? Would you stand there and tell me I was wrong to want something different? To need something different?"

Yes. We are warriors, we are not just any civilians, do you forget? We don't have time to indulge ourselves.

Crane replied, beginning to slowly approach Viper.

I have to take you to the palace, Master Shifu wants to talk to you.

Viper's gaze never left Crane's face as he approached her. She could feel the tension in the air, the unspoken words and emotions hanging heavy between them. When Crane reached out to grab her arm, she suddenly struck, her. She shot towards Crane, trapping him between her powerful muscles, forcing him to fall heavily to the ground.

By instinct, Crane began to flap his wings in desperation, scratching Viper from time to time, but this only motivated Viper to tighten her body around him.

We don't have to fight, Crane. Go away and leave me, I'll disappear like leaves in the wind.

Crane's wings beat furiously against Viper's scales, trying to break free from her constricting hold. He hissed, his golden eyes filled with anger and determination.

After a while of squeezing Crane, Viper let go, letting him breathe quickly, catching his breath. When his lungs calmed down, Crane glanced at Viper, a look of pain, betrayal, and anger. He stood up carefully. Crane shook himself, adjusting himself as best he could, his feathers a little bruised from Viper's grip, but neither of them cared.

I hope you know what you're doing, Viper.

Viper simply looked away, her eyes cold and distant, her heart heavy with the weight of her decision. Just leave, Crane. And never come back. She turned her back on him, her long tail swishing behind her as she walked away, leaving Crane standing there alone.

The warm sun bathed Viper’s scales as she reclined on the rock, the peaceful buzz of the world around her lulling her into a rare moment of contentment. But that peace shattered like fragile glass when a voice she thought she’d left in the past called out behind her.

“What do you mean? This world can’t be that bad?”

The words froze her in place. Every muscle in her serpentine body tensed, her forked tongue flicking out to taste the air as if to confirm the reality of the moment. Her mind raced. She hadn’t heard that voice in what felt like a lifetime. Slowly, she turned, already knowing what she would see.

Crane.

The sight of him made her stomach twist. He stood there, tall and slender, silhouetted against the golden light of the setting sun. His once-pristine white feathers were disheveled and stained with dirt, tiny scratches lining his body like battle scars. His sharp golden eyes locked onto hers, unwavering and accusatory.

“Crane,” Viper hissed, her voice low and laced with tension.

The crane tilted his head slightly, his expression unreadable. “Remember, I’m a crane—my eyes never lie to me.” His voice was calm but carried a sharp edge, cutting through the air like the blade of a guandao.

Viper’s yellow eyes narrowed, her tail shifting slightly behind her. “What brings you here, Crane?”

“That’s what I should be asking you,” Crane replied, his tone tinged with irritation and fatigue. “As far as I remember, we weren’t allowed to take vacations. And yet here you are... miles from the palace, lying on a rock as if you’ve forgotten the world we swore to protect.”

He spoke in Crane, the elegant language of his kind, its melodic rhythm now edged with accusation. His feathers, though ruffled, gave him an air of regality as he took a step closer, his eyes never leaving her face.

“After your sudden disappearance from the Jade Palace, there were rumors,” he continued, his voice heavy with unspoken judgment. “Most of them bad. Stories about betrayal, cowardice... abandonment.”

As he spoke, he began to circle her like a predator closing in on its prey. His steps were slow, deliberate, and calculated, his piercing gaze dissecting her as if searching for a crack in her resolve.

“Is it true?” he asked, his voice quieter now but no less pointed. “Did you leave us for some hidden reason? Some selfish dream?”

Viper tracked his movements, her body coiling slightly, her muscles taut. Her tongue flicked out again, tasting not just the air but the tension radiating from him.

“Answer me,” Crane demanded, his voice rising. “Is it true you abandoned all of us... because of a dream we aren’t allowed to have?”

The words struck like a blow, and for a moment, Viper’s composure faltered. Her scales bristled, but she quickly regained control, her eyes narrowing into slits. Her voice, when it came, was cold and sharp as a blade.

“And if I did?” she hissed. “Would you stand there and tell me I was wrong to want something different? To need something different?”

Crane’s golden eyes flared with anger. “Yes,” he snapped. “We are warriors, Viper. Not civilians. We don’t have the luxury of indulging our whims.”

He took another step toward her, his movements deliberate and filled with unyielding purpose. “I have to take you back to the palace,” he said, his voice resolute. “Master Shifu wants to talk to you.”

Viper’s heart sank at the mention of Shifu, but her gaze remained steady. As Crane reached out to grab her, instinct took over. Her body moved with the deadly precision of a striking serpent, coiling around him in an instant. With a single fluid motion, she slammed him to the ground, her powerful muscles pinning him in place.

Crane let out a startled cry, his wings flapping wildly as he struggled against her grip. His feathers scratched at her scales, but his resistance only made her tighten her hold.

“We don’t have to fight, Crane,” she hissed, her voice low and dangerous. “Go away. Leave me, and I’ll disappear like leaves in the wind.”

Crane’s wings slowed as his strength waned. His breaths came in labored gasps, his golden eyes burning with defiance even as his body weakened. After a moment, Viper loosened her grip, allowing him to collapse onto the ground. He lay there for a moment, coughing and trembling as he fought to regain his composure.

When he finally rose, his movements were slow and deliberate, his feathers bruised and ruffled from the struggle. His golden eyes locked onto hers, a storm of emotions swirling within them—pain, betrayal, anger, and something that almost looked like sorrow.

“I hope you know what you’re doing, Viper,” he said, his voice quieter now but no less heavy with emotion.

Viper didn’t meet his gaze. She turned her back on him, her expression unreadable. Her voice, when it came, was cold and final. “Just leave, Crane. And never come back.”

Crane stood there for a long moment, watching her retreating figure. Finally, he turned, his wings spreading as he took to the sky. The beating of his wings echoed through the clearing, fading into the distance until the world was silent once more.

Alone again, Viper didn’t stop or look back. Her heart ached with the weight of her choices, but her resolve remained firm. She had made her decision, and she would face its consequences—no matter who she had to leave behind.

The sun dipped lower in the sky, casting long shadows across the clearing. Viper slithered away from the rock, her thoughts heavy as she disappeared into the growing twilight.
The day drew to a close as the warm hues of sunset gave way to the cool tones of evening. The encounter with Crane lingered in Viper's mind, her thoughts heavy and clouded. Yet, as she made her way back to Marina’s house, there was no further sign of him. The path was quiet, save for the occasional rustling of leaves or the distant chirping of insects.

When Viper arrived, Marina and Tonka were seated outside, engaged in light-hearted conversation. Their laughter floated through the air, a welcome contrast to the tense silence that had followed Viper all the way home. The moment they caught sight of her, however, their expressions shifted to ones of shock and concern.

“Viper! What happened to you?” Marina exclaimed, rising to her full height as her gaze scanned the cuts and scratches adorning Viper’s sleek scales. “Where did those wounds come from?”

Viper sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. Her muscles ached, both from the earlier fight and the weight of the memories that had resurfaced. “It’s a long story,” she said finally, her voice weary. “And not a happy one. I’ll tell you later. Right now... I need a hot bath and some food.” Her eyes met Marina’s, silently pleading for understanding.

Marina nodded quickly. “Of course, dear. No problem. Take your time.”

The three of them entered the house, the cozy interior a stark contrast to the tension still swirling in Viper’s mind. Marina and Tonka stayed behind as Viper made her way to the bathroom. Steam soon filled the small room, curling like smoke as the hot water washed over her sore, battered body. She let out a contented sigh, her eyes closing as the tension began to melt away.

A knock at the door startled her from her brief respite. Wrapping herself in a towel, she opened the door to find Tonka standing there. Wrapped in her shimmering coils was a human man, his face pale and his body trembling.

“I brought you dinner,” Tonka announced with a sly smile, her forked tongue flicking out as she slithered into the room. “It’ll help with your wounds...”

Viper stepped aside, allowing Tonka to glide in with her captive. The human man collapsed onto the floor as Tonka uncoiled, his body shaking violently as his eyes darted between the two massive snakes. He stammered incoherent pleas for mercy, his voice cracking under the weight of his terror.

Ignoring his cries, Viper slithered closer, her piercing yellow eyes narrowing as she studied her prey. Leaning in, she gave the man a slow, deliberate lick, her tongue flicking across his face and chest.

“I hope you move a lot,” she hissed playfully, her lips curling into a predatory smile.

The man’s screams filled the room as Viper’s muscular coils wrapped around him, pulling him into a vice-like grip. He struggled violently, his terror palpable, but Viper’s strength was unmatched. From her perch, Tonka watched the scene unfold, her head propped lazily on a pillow.

“You’re playing with your food again,” Tonka remarked with a laugh, her tone equal parts amused and teasing.

Viper chuckled, but the sound carried a dark edge. “Can you blame me? It’s been a rough day.”

After a few minutes of toying with her prey, Viper grew bored. Her stomach rumbled, and the predatory hunger that had been gnawing at her all day surged to the surface. Uncoiling from the man, she positioned herself above him, her mouth opening impossibly wide.

“Shh,” she whispered, her voice dripping with mock tenderness. “Struggle all you want. It’ll be over soon.”

The man’s screams turned to muffled cries as Viper began to swallow him headfirst. Her powerful jaws worked methodically, saliva coating his skin as she pulled him deeper into her gullet. His struggles only served to heighten her appetite, her body convulsing slightly as she adjusted to accommodate him.

Tonka watched with a mixture of admiration and envy, her own tail flicking idly. “You’re so greedy today, Viper,” she teased.

Viper didn’t reply, her focus entirely on her meal. Inch by inch, the man disappeared into her, his terrified cries fading into the wet gurgles of her throat. When the last of him vanished, Viper let out a loud burp, a satisfied expression spreading across her face.

“He was delicious,” she murmured, her tongue flicking out to catch a stray drop of saliva.

Tonka laughed, coiling herself tighter. “Well, it was a pleasure watching you eat. Marina’s going to wake you up with questions for sure, so I’d suggest you get some rest.”

Tonka slithered out of the room, leaving Viper alone to digest her meal. The bulge in her midsection shifted as the man’s movements grew more frantic, but she simply coiled loosely around herself, her body relaxing as exhaustion overtook her.
