This popped up on my new messages board and before I realized what I had done, I had read it. My god, this is most interesting. Even with how vague some of the plot details are, this is an incredible concept. OR I'm just that big on non fatal right now, lol.
Though I do wish you had gotten into even hinting at the age regression. I find the thought of "trapping" a prey into a form they are powerless to do a thing about and being fully aware, or at least aware until the years of a new childhood alter their mindset :D
Huh, I hadn't realized that people would get notified when I edited the story - it's about three years old, but I finally got around to clearing out the html formatting I put in when I was still writing with those in.
As for the age regression, the intent was to leave the reader with the understanding that the woman unbirthed was going to come back out as a baby when the new "due date" came around - obviously I didn't succeed, but stretching the time out to include that part would have lost some of the horror effect I was trying to include on this one.
I grasped the point about the implied age regression, but I was being demanding about there being "clearly done" age regression. Apologies actually are in order. I was whining about something I wanted/would have preferred to have seen, and that isn't right to ask of any artist or writer.
First time I've read it, a nice addition to your other spectacular works, I'm actually kind of glad you left the age regression a bit vague, there are different ends possible for the "pest", and the ambiguity actually lent (in my opinion) the possibility for imagining different endings for Lacey.

I love it! Great way to deal with the pests of society.

Oh, and because I'm silly enough to forget it, I'm glad you liked the story!

That's quite OK, I can understand the preference - I've done that in many of my stories, it just didn't fit this one very well.
