Vorelords Round 07

Yet another episode of Vorelords. This one I could not directly participate in and could only coattail.

Round Seven:
Cierra lay on the Beach quietly enjoying a book, pausing only to sip a nice, cool drink. It was a fascinating book and she was reading through it slowly. But after a while she became aware of a strange bubbling sound, but could not place where it was originating from...

The sound was a Blob oozing up under her and it rapidly started to absorb the woman into it's mass, lifting her up as it flowed under her from the very beach.

But Cierra did not panic even though the slime was sucking her in fast. She had but one chance to escape and she reached out and pulled the glass of ice into the Blob with her.

The ammorphous body shuddered in shock at the contact and the entire mass released it's hold on the woman and retreated back into the sand as fast as it had appeared.

Cierra's quick thinking had saved herself and Falsedoon was robbed of his chance at a victim, as had been Omega who had been along to assist this time in the summoning.
