The children had started elementary school, that The Hospital had spawn in its growing pocket dimension, open to all the Hidden Folk and it was common to see also human children as the unions of Hidden Folk and humans were starting to become a little more common even if the secret was still kept.
While that was happening, their home was in turbulence.
Their baby lamia now had celebrated her first year which went by almost uneventfully. After her hatching she had entered a very considerate, helpful and regular schedule: she ate without a fuss, slept for long hours and the changes went by without issues. She was being very nice to her parents giving her mommy time to help daddy that on the other hand was having a hell of a time.
Vale had on his shoulder their own multiple pregnancy and a triple emergency pregnancy transfer with a concurrently emergency intensive care unbirth ,followed by spontaneous in situ lamia transformation of the human mother; he didn’t endure those he thrived in them.
And this little tyke had him on the ropes.
Just after the first week, during which the auxiliary slime womb jump started his pregnancy (first relaxing the cervix and womb to let the child in; then developing his own placenta to then merging it with the one that was harvested from Taylor with their baby which encase their baby; while sustaining and gestating him), the problems arose.
It started with shorten of breath, then a constant fatigue and nausea, morning sickness at whatever hour of the day. It developed in even more troubling issue, making him enter The Hospital almost as frequently as when he was working but instead as a patience.
Fortunately, all this didn’t bother the gestation of their latest child, which juggle along with no issues on his part. While his father was reaping all the side effects for the moment.

I intend to expand a lot their story, and these are part of that expations
