Ten Little Kids
A Poem By Misterebony,
Based on Ten Little Indians.
Ten little tasty kids,
Cheerful and Divine.
A giant wanted a yummy girl sandwich,
Now there are nine.
Nine little patient kids,
Standing near the gate.
A witch came out wanting a gingerbread boy,
Now there is just eight.
Eight little frightened kids,
Praying now to heaven.
One was whisked of to safety by angels
And now there are only seven
Seven little curious kids
Watching a wizards tricks.
But no one saw the hungry lion,
And now there are just six.
Six little cuddly kids,
Wanting to stay alive.
A family of bears needed a birthday cake,
And now there only five.
Five little hungry kids,
Begging at a door.
A monster took one to fatten up for lunch,
Now there are only four.
Four little wandering kids,
Sitting up in a tree.
A giant snake in it got hungry,
And now there's only three.
Three little bored kids,
Not sure what to do.
One went to play with a river troll
Now there is only two.
Two little sweet kids
Just wanting to have fun.
A wolf was asked about his teeth,
Now there is only one.
One little crying kid,
Thinking his life is done.
Well, A kindly fur made him a food pet
Now we can have some fun!
One little foodie pet,
And me with a job to do.
The wolf reformed his tasty meal,
And look! Now there are two!
Two little foodie pets,
Happy as can be.
The river troll brought his new friend home
And now there are three!
Three yummy foodie pets
More delicious than before.
That snake learned his meal could reform himself,
And POOF! Now there's four!
Four delighted foodie pets,
Happy to be alive.
The monster released the relieved kid,
And he made number five!
Five scrumptous foodie pets
Loving all their tricks.
The bears reformed their birthday cake,
And that made it six!
Six yummy foodie pets,
Living as if in heaven.
The lion just wanted to snuggle his meal,
Reforming number seven!
Seven cuddly foodie pets,
And oh... they taste so great!
The angels arranged a little reunion
And brought home #8!
Eight joyous foodie pets,
Having a wonderful time,
No one evber caught that gingerbread boy
So here came #9!
Nine delighted foodie pets,
Getting eaten again and again,
The giant tearfully parted ways with the girl,
And one more there was ten!
Ten tired foodie pets,
Hush now! Don't make a peep!
Their adventure is done, their lives happy,
So let them get their sleep.
THE END
Ok, this poem has been done many a time, but I wanted to do my own spin on it, with kids who seem to get in trouble. Could someone use this for a pic series?
