His hips bounced and rolled, and he looked up to see Savannah on top of him now, again riding his still-rigid cock. Her eyes fluttered open and locked to his, and she fell forward to loom over him. Wow. A lot of unexpected things in that installment. I still don't get most of the conspiracy between the daffodil goddess and her puppets and how Lara was a "lucky find" but it was neat that she was actually around in this chapter and we get to discover that she isn't really privy to the whole vore and dismemberment thing that happens to Sam from time to time.

Also, who was that ally that gave him the shot that made him not feel the pain? Was it one of those bunny girls... someone with compassion for him that knew his fate? How come everyone but Lara seemed to know what was going to happen at that party?

Did she know that the party was being hosted by that leopard Sam originally found on a website and did she also think along with Sam that the videos of people getting eaten were faked, and decided to surprise him by actually taking him there? And what does the daffodil Goddess have to do with all this again?

Gah, I'm so confused. ><

Woo! Lots of good questions. I'll answer the ones that won't spoil for any three of the remaining chapters. (Man, I need to get cracking on #6 again!)

Okay... The ally who gave him the shot wasn't really an ally - she was one of Claire/Savannah's bunny-girls, who are essentially her thralls. Claire, you may remember from previous chapters, but probably not, was a vampire who developed a taste for Samish. She's the same Claire from Cheating Life, also - just a bit more in the future, after she leaves abandons the cause of the vampires for her own personal gain as a servant of Courothei (the Daffodil goddess). This part's not too clear (in re-writes I hope to make it much more clear), but what happened is that Lara (who is friends with Claire) arranged to have Sam swallowed whole and regurgitated (that's Claire/Savannah's normal M.O. for her snuff porn videos) However, Claire basically cheats Lara to satisfy her own lust for blood and flesh and the commands of her goddess by ripping Sam apart, then Courothei turns around and cheats her by turning Claire into a finger-puppet and absorbing all of her memories.

I'm pretty sure that dynamic was almost completely opaque in the story, unfortunately, but is it more or less confusing knowing that?

you are probably one of the best authors I have seen ever! dont ask me why coz I dont have a clue, all I know is for some reason I can actually read the whole thing! my favs are number 3 and 5 though

oh and just a question, is Savannah supposed to have unbirthed red or something?

Yup, that's what I was meaning to imply. All the chapters are going to be revised a bit down the road - once I finish chapter 8 (whenever that will be!) I'm going to try to stitch them back together into a more cohesive novel with character growth and stuff. Of all the chapters, this one and 2 are most likely to have the most changes, since I wasn't too happy with how they turned out. Maybe then I can make Red's unbirthing more obvious, or actually describe it a bit.

Phew. Pretty intense that one. I tend to like my vore more two dimentional. Of course, despite that, thise series has me coming back to it. Slightly disturbing or not.

The dark themes running through this series are interesting indeed, and of course, very well written.

This HAS GOT TO BE the most intense story I've read, ever!!

There's vore, teasing, a vampiress transformed into a sexy large predator!

Top it up with sex with the predator - very much while she still has a squirming prey in her belly. And the ambiguity of whether Sam was thrusting into Savannah, or actually thrusting into Clair with Savannah morphed over herself; feeling both bodies at the same time...

And like many of your stories, this Samish series have characters you feel and sympathize for, it makes you emotionally bound to them!!

I've read many of your stories, and along with some of the best stories out there (eg M.E. Hydra - succubi), this Chapter 5 Savannah is the ONLY one I've enjoyed re-reading several times!!!

I'm really glad you liked it! It feels great to hear that someone would want to re-read anything I've re-written multiple times, but especially something that touched on so many ideas I personally enjoy.
