Relationships and respect seem to be a recurring theme in your work, and they always come across as authentic. I do hope Smith will learn to respect Ariel... and won't slip up. I sense something unpleasant might happen to him if he does.

Thanks, French_Snack. Coming from a talented writer as yourself, this means a lot. Yeah, I have noticed that most of my stories do revolve around relationship and respect, and I haven't noticed to recently.
I will post the old version of this after I am done with the new version, and have people see which one they like best. The second part should be up by tonight. I'm working on some of it in class. I can multi-task. = )
