Someone asked me to draw a tarrasque eating a dragon, so I penciled this one out at Further Confusion. I'd say who it was but their PM is lost someone in my 46 freaking pages of PMs. 83
How exactly a big blue dragon was dumb enough to get overpowered and swallowed by a non-flying creature is left to the reader as an intellectual exercise.

What's scary? The Tarrasque will probably have room for the soldiers too.

It's the Tarrasque. It'll probably eat the castle too. 83

wel the tarrasque is a colassal creature and does have the swallow whole ability plus it being immune to electricty..i have to say the blue dragon got way over its head

Way over this head. Up to his hindpaws at this point and still going. 89~
Normally Tarrasques are restricted to swallowing Huge creatures, but presumable by taking more time (e.g. not in combat) this one is managing to bolt down even a Gargantuan/Colossal dragon.

This Tarrasque is Advanced, the DM gave it the Gape of the Serpent feat. >:3

LOL. I get the feeling this is more than an "intillectual excercise" for some people. ; )

Whoops, *intellectual. >.<

Perhaps the dragon is a vorarephile? x3

It's pretty much the strongest creature in D&D (at least in the Prime Material Plane), and it's all but impossible to kill.

Only because of stupid fiat that says you need the 9th level spell Wish to kill it. The thing is a stupid, badly thought out tank (who the hell gave it the +3hp Toughness feat six times?), and not particularly dangerous. You can outwit it with Fly, Invisibility, or just *walking away*, because it moves slower than an average human. And it has an Intelligence of 3.
So, yeah, it's definitely an intellectual exercise to figure out how it managed to get the better of a dragon. Here's my suggestion: It's actually the pet tarrasque of the epic wizard who lives in the castle and feeds it dragons to keep it happy.

Or you could just assume this is 4th edition DnD, where the tarrasque is a credible threat again due to an aura surrounding it that pulls all flying creatures to the ground.

oh thanks

Clearly an ill advised romantic affair between the two ended badly when the The Tarrasque finally caught on (after several hundred years) that beloved Lady Blue had been sleeping with other (read mutable) dragons. Thus he solved his jealousy, hunger, and anger all at once. And that, children, is how the Tarrasque grew horns.

Your infrequent trips into D&D always make me laugh some, and always in the evil OMG way. Thanks for giving the most gluttonous thing ever to walk, literally, an "Intellectual exercise" <3~

Very nice picture, you did a great job on portraying the immense size of the creatures!
I'm wondering where the people are who will complain that a dragon was prey. XD

Don't forget to notice the farm in the background. Good addition, that.

It jumped good clearly, it threw something or it just waited for the dragon to get tired and land.

One version of he game has tarrasques radiate a no-flying zone. Maybe it fell out of the sky and right into a tarrasque maw. 83
