Coryn continues to plan and scheme, bringing a third person into her inner circle for the war of conquest to come. She moonlights as an unconventional therapist to get her two chosen friends to be friends with each other, and then the next morning they get into the first real fight of Coryn's war.
You and your cursed cliffhangers! How do I keep missing I'm near the end of my scrolling bar?!!
I have always loved to see the "villain's" thoughts, but since i've gotten... well I just hope things keep rolling along as smoothly as they have thus far. And that drake, hehehehe
I'll strangle you if you up and die suddenly and don't finish this story >_>
This is the most intriguing chapter so far. I don't know why I stopped reading, but I never finished the first chapter when you first posted that one and I guess I forgot all about it.
It's a great story, at first I had my issued with introducing non Isharans to Ishara seeing as it is a pretty full and versatile place Duamutef has made and later that you made Coryn so damn powerful. But it's looking better by the minute as you have a good plot setting with clearly some decent thought behind it.
Now I'll go see what that Swedish dragon is up to ;) Kat was it? For I see by now that you've uploaded chapter 6 as well.
(Yeah drake is Swedish for dragon, or possibly Norse, though it's pronounced with a long a, like dragon is.)
Fun fact: I only made Sakkateth a drake because I was flipping aimlessly through Duam's site and I really, really liked the picture he had of a drake in the beastspace section. I will say chapter 7 has EVEN MORE Sakkateth action, because she is very fun to write for and such characters have a way of growing over stories like ivy.
Ahh, yeah it's a classic picture he has cropped, probably because he didn't want the drakes to be effin' huge, I recall there being an army or a city at her feet.
Reading the description makes me wonder if bones in Ishara are made from something different, because with their exceptionally strong acids it should otherwise have read that you never find bones in their droppings. (Since bones disolve easily even in weak acids, unlike fat and protein who need special enzymes.)
And I know what you mean about characters taking over one's mind...it is a shame I've gotten away from the habit of recording my ideas...
Loved the poking at Duam in one of the previous chapters, urging him to step forth if he's out there.

I agree with the unpronouncable one.
