Poor little Cassidy. Since nobody can touch him, he's a little deprived off all the things a cute little critter like himself would normally get - like affection and petting and so forth.
Of course, Snappy being Snappy, wasn't going to let a little thing like a deadly curse get in the way - and with the help of a soft brush, she can give the little mouse-critter all the petting and scratching he could ever need...

He doesn't know - if he wasn't born that way, it happened when he was so young he can't remember.
Unsurprisingly, he doesn't have any surviving family members to ask :p
