Hiroe, a human woman stuck in the Swamp, had learnt its lessons well: Stay away from absolutely everyone, because they will try to eat you. Trust no one, because they will try to eat you. This had kept her alive longer than most.
But when she ran into a very unusual pair of lovers, her emotions got the better of her and she found herself...Between a cock and a moist place. 83

Note that the Swamp is an alternative name for Yum-Chat, the place where I met these characters many moons ago.

Falling into the clearing sealed Hiroe's fate -- she was going to end up inside SOMEONE one way or the other. It just amused Suzy to get her to both offer herself to Labrus and set herself up to be eaten. So yes, con artists is about accurate. 83

The tiger-man tried to eat Hiroe but she got away. He was the one who tore her clothing, which made it easy for Labrus to mount her. As far as we know the tiger-man is still back at the lagoon.

Hiroe wanted it to be implied that she wouldn't come back. I left it hazy in the story, with no one quite sure whether she'd be back or not.
