A crafty merchant gets his obligatory three wishes from a djinn he releases. The first two wishes give him everything he wants; and the third makes sure he wants nothing else, ever again.
A standard story; nothing particularly revolutionary about the structure, though I hope it's at least engagingly written and fun to read!

For a moment, I almost expected him to sink into her (or her to blobishly engulf) during that last "bedroll" scene.
In any case, I know I'll certainly remember that first wish to use myself, should I get the chance. :D

Don't get me wrong, I considered it. :) But I just wrote a story with that kind of engulfing, I figured a nice oral vore scene would be appropriate this time. :)

Very clever (notably in terms of construction, sequences and consequences) and imaginative; as always, a pleasure to read!

This was a great story. I really enjoy how you flesh out the characters.

Brilliant story !
I have a thing for preys that get eaten because they couldn't resist their urges. And you nailed it :P
Thank you very much for writing this :)

By my tastes not a lot of character development, but it is a short story. (remember my commenting about starting to nail down your style?) But I loved your characterization of this dear genie. The three wishes were exactly why I used to warn my players about ever using things I gave them that gave wishes *smirks just like a Djinn just granting a questionable wish*
The characterization of the Kai was not stereotypical, which was refreshing to read. And the fact you made him truly human in the end with our weaknesses, heheheeh
Though I was not too fond of that jungle stuff. You seemed to glaze over things once you got there. Hinting here and there, but rarely indulging. I know this was to set up the finale but >_>
Excellent ending though, even if it creeped me out as a "not a way i'd ever like to go." But he sure seemed happy at the end.
Oh and nice work on the descriptive device about the genie being smoke, cloud, water, misty like. That was a nice thread weaving its way through out the story.

One of your greatest qualities as a writer seems to be give a story the extra thought that introduces something new but explainable, something I wouldn't predict, but in retrospect is an obvious solution.
You've now raised the bar for genie stories.

Sweetness. I wish I had something more helpful to say, this was really nice.

Very well constructed. Someone could make a book of short stories about genies like this.
