“Only if the kitsune forces them to, silly.” Terrence grinned. <- that one line makes me a bit confused over the rest of the story. Is Terrence just lying to her or was this just a little something y'all missed yourselves in editing?
And I'm beginning to see a pattern to what has been increasingly bothering me about this story arc. It isn't anyone's fault, it is more something about me has changed in the last year.
The casualness with which these things are being done to others has begun to creep me out. I guess it is too much reminding me of just how casually any of our lives could be ruined just walking down the street and something random and violent happens *shrugs* I was mugged long ago.
I will continue to read a bit longer before I pass judgment about continuing or if it has actually grown too uncomfortable.

I think it has more to do with the cast than anything else. Ian and Janice even started off as interesting together, but she had to be in control because of how she started off with the story. Now we're seeing it with no controls on at all, and Shawna's just running roughshod over everything. Such a thing can be fun for a one off, but not sure it works for a story arc this long as I haven't really seen anything redeemable or endearing in this story yet honestly.
Then again, I'm STILL reading chapter after chapter, so something has to be done right huh? :p

Your feedback is noted. I have to admit that it is possible it may get a little worse before it gets better (we've written out the next couple of chapters in draft form so far), but if you'll hold on 'til the end, my characters usually end up getting what's coming to them one way or another. :)

Oh I'm in it for the long haul, and ya I expected things to get worse before better. :)
Just commenting that I hope it does, because right now, I wouldn't exactly feel devastated if Shawna got run over by a car, lol. Though, it's still "early", and we've only really seen one side to her so far.
