STORY
 
There are many tales of heroes great and small, of men and women who do great things for the sake of othrs. Well, this is NOT one of those stories.
 
This story is about Joe. And who is Joe you might ask? Well, Joe runs a bar and grill in a small town called Quinko. he's famous for hs brandy and his bull, but what he wants is wealth. And let's face it.. you can't get it working a bar.
 
So when he hears the local adventurers come in and tell their tales of monsters and riches and grand adventures, Joe decides to take part in it. With a sigh and a smile he sets out, perhaps to rescue the kidnapped children r do whatever else. He thinks this will be easy money.
 
This is HIS story, and it tells wether or not he got rich.
 
 
CONTROLS
 
Arrow keys: Move on the map or move the cursor in battle and on the sub screens.
 
Spacebar: Activate, talk, check an area
 
Esc: cancel, bring up the sub menu.
 
CHARACTERS (INCOMPLETE)
 
Joe: A hardworking smart alec barkeep out for riches, who has more to him than he thinks. He hopes this adventuring stuff will get him rich. We will see!
 
Goraff: Leader of Orcist and a wisecreaking child eater. He also is handy with an axe and with fist weapons. He is getting old though...
 
Erika: The Witch of Endor Wood, Erika is pretty and loving, but also mysteious. She waits for her true love, and when she finds him she is infinitely loyal.
 
Author: The mysterious helper Joe finds along his travels. Who is he?
 
Esther: The bright and best Student of the Diva, a skilled master of healing arts. Upbeat and kind, she is also well trained in using holy symbols and spears in combat.
 
Ann: Erika's little sister, who is eager to be a snack. She is a poor fighter but a skilled mage and healer, and she loves Erika dearly.
 
Mark: Erika's brother, who has been acting odd since a mission on Ice. What is his problem?
 
Athos (*): Brave hero of the world, who everyone wants to be. He is also a real person, eager to fight evil and strong enough to do so.
 
Scurge (*): A sea pirate who hates men and seeks only profit. Recently she began wearing a suit of armor, non-traditional for her station...
 
Zatch: A cruel and diobolical priest of Diablos, Zatch is trying to remove a curse from the followers of his master, by any means possible. He sees Joe as his ultimate foe.
