For his commission, prowler7 asked that I use his character Rodent and a dragon in a smoking/transformation/snuff story. I took some liberties with his character to create a sort of fable and the story reads quite a bit slowly. I've decided not to rewrite this, at least for now, because it felt so pure coming out. I'm fairly happy with it, for the story qualities, although having finished it I am filled with a very deep sense of sadness. Hopefully it's not too heavy.

This was magnificent. I stumbled across it by accident. The pacing, tone, symbolism, and vivid imagery, were all fantastic. The idea was well executed and so unique and intriguing.
It was short, sweet, and well "condensed."
