Part 2 of 4
Basic Plot: Jaabir (python) and Lichthia (mouse), live together in the snake's nest. Jaabir had previously captured Lichthia and gave her three days of life, unless he made a catch prior: He made the catch, and she got another week. . . but he no longer wishes to take her.
The Dance is a co-written story/RP between me and Tabatha_Cat/Cute_Little_Mouse. Its creation spanned several weeks and over 100k words (counting the sister story My Mouse, which covers the timeline before The Dance)
This story is highly vore-themed, but vore itself does not occur in every section.
Ongoing themes include: Unwilling prey, Willing prey, Unwilling Pred Asphyxiation, Constriction, Gentle/Kind Predator, Internal-Struggles, Digestion, Soft-Vore, Non-reformation, Death.

really great! I just love watching the characters' relationship build and grow. IT's always unclear whether it is more like friendship, family, or sexual romaance...always exciting and suspenseful!

Yeah ^^ Sometimes I'll read back at the beginning and it's nice to see how much development has taken place between the characters.
I think for them, most of their interactions might be 'sexual/sensual' but only between themselves. They never engage in any direct sexual encounters, but their predator/prey 'trust exercises' seem to create a similar intimacy for them.
I've taken it to also be like a sort of base-bond they shared from being natural predator and prey, and for her to be 'Jaabir's catch'. Rather, in that they were quite literally 'made for one another'. Though not wishing to eat her, there's still a sense that they are 'suppose' to be together as one. In my personal take (which interpretation as any other since none of this was planned ^^ ) It started as a close friendship, but a romance built on top of that natural bond because they can see each other as equals. I believe if Jaabir saw her as simply a 'mouse' and him as a 'snake' there relationship would be very different. Not to spoil, but that prospect is explored later on ^^.
