A Persona for my Egyptian foxes I've been working on. I ended up using another Arabic name, given the Egyptian names I've been finding (what few I can find) are somewhat unappealing. To be honest, I like the Arabic names over the Egyptian, but I worry about stepping on toes or giving off the wrong idea.
The last name is taken from the name of the God they pray too. So in this case, I have Raman, (a form of the Arabic name Rahman meaning full of compassion) is the first name, and the last name Thoth being God he prays to.
Not much to say about his fellow so far. All I know is he's in his late 20's, a XIV Temperance acting like a medium between worlds, and a summoner by trade. He where's a derby bowler as apposed to a fez and a scarf.

He looks a bit bloodied in the lower-right there.

I made a tiny spot where acidic vapors have already gone to work on him.

It's strange that English doesn't have words like "Rahman, meaning full of compassion." Though I suppose it's become somewhat of a trend as language has evolved.
In the top left, does it say FIN? On his tongue? >.>
Which two worlds is he a medium for?

I think we do have a few like that. My name means Wolf Shield, which I thought was always cool. I just chose Arabic and Egyptian names because of where these guys are located.
Yes, yes it does, as in "if you're reading this, it's your end".
This life and the afterlife.

"Wolf Shield" is kinda cool. It sounds olden European, as if it would be on a family crest or something.
I just...thought I was seeing things. >.> I know what fin means in that context.
Aah, so he's the shepherd then? I know the Egyptians had an equivalent in their religion (I don't know what the correct word is...maybe lore or mythos, etc.).

Would be nice to have a family crest. :3
~nods~ Yeah. >:)
Yeah, I don't quite want to call him a priest, but he's about that rank. Mythology, I think works just fine. :3

T'would. Except whenever I think of family crests, as noble and prestigious as they are, I'm reminded of Poe and The Cask of Amontillado. :x
Huh...he doesn't seem to be doing much in the way of bringing this poor fellow closer to his God. Just to his stomach. XD

~nods~ That's one of my favorite works!
Well, technically, that is bringing him closer to God. >.> <.< Technically.

I should clarify, then. Family crests are cool, and The Cask of Amontillado is an excellent short work, but I don't like to associate the two. Which I know is weird, since the contrast is important to Montresor.
Hehehe in a way, I suppose you are right.

Perhaps, in a sick way I am. :3
