Lol! The involvement of the male character ealier in the story was just to show what 'World' The Mother is in. The anime is called Rosario+Vampire if you want to see what I mean :), but yes, I am a lady lover XD
I doubt it, When The Mother first appeared in my imagination she was in the form of an elephant that would suck little girls out of orphanages and play with them inside her belly. If a male does get involved into a story, they won't remain that way once The Mother finds him XD
