For a tortuous moment, he felt the touch of the gryphon’s mind on his own. It was vast. It was ancient. It could snuff his own tiny little mind out like a candle flame.

GOddddd I love that line so, so so so-much. I can see you really comb over your choice of words, too. You must choose certain words because of how they 'look' or 'feel.' It shows (:
The gryphon stood over him, blotting out the sun, his dark form appearing ringed by a burning corona of dark fire.

That one is gorgeous too.
The torrent of searing emotions ended, leaving him stunned and gasping, with nothing but his calves and feet outside the maw of his predator. He felt Damian’s long, prehensile tongue entwine with his lashing tail, trapping it in a brutally invasive embrace. It was too much. The tears began to flow again, not just of terror now, but rage and hatred. He screamed again and again, flailing, driving his fists into the slick muscular flesh of Damian’s throat, over and over again. Damian groaned, and Alex felt a surge of wild, desperate hope: He could hurt him! He could escape!

Yum, totally have a soft spot for gryphons.
I am so glad I finally got around to reading this in full with my undivided attention. Can't wait to read the next part ~

The gentle murder....
Ooooooo...this gave me chills as I read it! Everything...everything was so...perfect. -grins- So beautiful, so majestic and yet so very very deadly. The cool and collected personality of the predator of set by the utterly feral panic of the prey....astounding. It's writings such as these which I absolutely adore!
I have to say I think I am official fangirl of Damian now. XD I love how he speaks, how he entrances and enthralls, making it clear without being brutal, so tender, so caring, considerate, loving...how he explains exactly what he is going to do to Alex. He has no need for anything else, his presence and words alone are what get the job done. I have such a soft spot for predators like this. And writing and rping scenes such as this are one of my greatest joys. I can't wait to see more of this character!
I hope you do not mind me saying but Damian is now right up there right next to Hannibal on my top pred's list. Actually as I read this I cannot help but invision Hannibal as this gryphon!

Ah, excellent. I think you understand the pleasures this sort of thing holds for me very well.
I think that might be what makes Damian so immensely appealing to me, and ensures that he and his little fox are still my two favourites, even after all the characters who have appeared behind them: he's just so loving. Even when it comes to brutal torture, he's so gentle and tender about it. I admit, I am very, very pleased with the monster I have created.
And Hannibal? In Damian's name, I certainly don't mind. I LOVE Hannibal, and to have Damian compared to him is nothing short of an honour. Certainly, the good doctor has provided no end of inspiration for my murderous characters. He's just magnificent.

Hannibal is the only human pred I have found myself able to enjoy. But in the concept of predator alone, he sets a whole new level of which to be reached and I have found very few characters thus far who are in my opinion worthy of being grouped into the same class. Both Damian and Goldeneye deserve to be in the same class.
They say stick and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you....Damian certinaly beggs to differ. His words are his most readily used weapon, so subtle yet so obvious in the manipulation of his prey, barely lifting a talon so to speak in achieving his goal of upmost terror in his victims. To strip them of everything and leave them naked and vulnerable as the walls of their sanity are torn down as if they are nothing. -croons lowly- Such an art, such perfection....he truly is a monster and I adore him for it.^^

If you don't mind I had a question. Well, two actually pretaining to Goldeneye. I'll start with the first then move onto the second next post.
First up, given the mythology you have entered behind him in the Artic Fox story...he ascends to godhood at the very end, entering a whole new realm so to speak. Would it be at all possible to gauge his reaction if he were to meet another god of whom to his misfortune discovered he was nothing more than a pawn in their games not so unlike his motives towards Josh? A 'predator becomes the prey' moment if you will? And this would be a reveal aspect, sort of a 'this is your fate this is the reason as to why you exist...in the end, when the time is right, you too shall fall....' leaving him wracking his brain in the end for a solution to this looming proposed fate as the other god does not attempt to eat him just yet, but is warning him.

As for this next one... it's as if you've been reading the private roleplays between the fellow who commissioned that story and me! There is a character who fits that description perfectly, and he is unequivocably more powerful than Goldeneye, and he would certainly do things of that sadistic nature. Oh yes...
Seriously, this unnerves me somewhat. That is exactly what he would do. Exactly. Are you another Voidtouched or something?
And Goldeneye? Oh, no... he would not like it. Not at all. However... if anyone can escape a fate like that, it's Goldeneye. True insanity means that no-one can hope to imagine what you'll do. He might find a way out...
Or not. Having him squirm his way to his own digestive doom does have a certain appeal... >_>
For now, though, I think he may just be content with being one of the most powerful and deadly creatures in creation. :>

Wow....O-o seriously? I hit the nail that squarely on the head? Awesome....XD TELEPATHY!!! -shot- Okay okay I'll calm down. XD
Voidtouched....well my main sona of who's name is my screen name....she is a Voidtouch. Or rather what would be the equivelent in the mythology of my own universe of which she was originally designed for. She was a creature known as a Draconian of which was reduced to the ranking below known as a Planeswalker...or as it would also translate, Voidwalker, VoidSearcher, VoidSeer. Prior to that she was what I called a Shard. Her soul was shattered into countless pieces and fell to be hidden, scattered across countless realms of countless dimensions. As she collects those pieces she regains her power. As of now she's back to Draconian status...
She is the void itself, and therefore everything which is part of the void, born forth from the void, was taken from her, sharing even the tinest fragment of her soul. And thus...all so shall it end, every fragment consumed to make her whole again. Goldeneye would be no different if he were in my headcanon realm. XD
This leads to the second question. I know Goldeneye wouldn't exactly be fond of this unless he wants to see the challenge. XD He'll probably hate me for this. But...I was curious as to if I might be granted permission to write a little scene between Goldie and Divine Evil if I so may please.^^ If not thats okay.

Yes, you really did hit the nail on the head. We were honestly quite unnerved by it...
As for your pretty divine beastiess, she sounds like an interesting creature indeed. However, the Void is not all dimensions, but simply the miasma in which all dimensions reside - the anti-space between worlds. Your creature sounds more (if I may use the jargon of dimensional metascience) like a exceptionally high-graded dimensional manifestation consciousness - essentially, the sentient manifestation of an entire universe, a creature the mind of which exists in the entire Void-space of their entire universe. These creatures have only been theorised to exist, but if they do, they would likely be the most powerful entities in the whole of Creation, so capable in their manipulation of the energies of the Void that whole dimensions could be within their power...
I have quite a lot to tell about this mythology/science o' mine. >:D
As for Goldie... well, he'd be delighted to meet such a creature. You have my permission and my interest, by all means. :D

Now it is our turn to be amazed. What you just described is one of two versions of DivineEvil of which I have. The version of which I first spoke of was pretaining to the aspect of the Void being something slightly different from your realm as what I spoke of was something I had originally written years ago into a book series but never got it published. Instead I transformed it into an rp site which at the peek of its time had 12,000 active members. Unfortunately the site was hosted on a forum server and when they did their first major update it was deleted by accident. I remade the forum and the members came back, but as the years went on it faded as people became so absorbed in their own daily lives. Eventually I shut it down about four years ago. The place had a good run.
But yes the version of her which I am currently using is what you described.^^ Very perceptive!
And thank you!^^ When I have the time I will most certainly get started and we'll see what Goldie's response is. I can't wait.

Hee hee hee. We seem to be thinking much along the same lines in some cases...
Well, I suppose the idea of the Void is that it DOES exist for every universe, and all magic, supernatural effects, etc, are simply a corrupted form of Voidseeing, so... maybe it's not such a coincidence that Divine is so similar.
Pity about the RP site, though. That sounds like a pretty major thing. I'm rather impressed really. :3 It sounded like a fun place.
And exshellent. *cackles* I look forward to whatever madness you may create.
