Well, thank you for your thank you. I'm delighted to have inspired such an excellent piece of writing. Certainly, it wasn't my iintention when I wrote that, but art is not logical or conformist - as I feel this story proves rather well.
Every time I see you post something new, I can't help but get excited over the prospect of reading it. Brief as this one is when compared to "Intimacy", it still carries the overwhelmingly emotional, passionate descriptions always present in your writing, creating an astonishingly captivating and beautiful result. I must say that this story in particular rubs me the right way, in no small part because I can relate very directly to the prey character... or even pretend that I AM her, considering that her identity is kept anonymous much like the predator's (aside from the fact that you described him as despicably handsome and smug, of course-- but those are the sorts of traits I love best!).
Amazingly done, really. While I can't help but wish there was more, I also don't really feel like there needs to be... the concept you were inspired to write about was covered in its entirety, and the rest can be safely left up to the imagination. <3

Exactly - it's supposed to be short and 'sweet.' It ends just where it should.... the rest is left up to the imagination!
Now as for the overwhelming and emotional content and style of writing - wow! I really had no idea I was able to capture that again! And I am SO glad I did. Thank you so much for your insight.
Ha! This little piece is supposed to be poetic... I'l venture to the dark side soon enough and do something really graphic and erotic. That shall be fun >:D
