The World of Actura (Worldbuilding)

Well, as I have hinted a bit, my stories take place in the same world, which I have called Actura. More than that, they are going to slowly become part of an enormous story arc that will takes all across this strange world, and beyond.
So lets have a look at Actura, world of the benevolent Authority, of innocent lives lived ot the full... and of dark and twisted monsters that may end it all.
Some of this will become relevant in the future. A lot of it is just trivia. If theres anything it doesn't detail, feel free to ask.

Very, VERY interesting. You've actually got multiple great settings here; the war-torn Actura during the "Hunger Wars", the Actura during the age when Theo is bringing it together, and modern Actura. Here's hoping we'll see stories set in all the time periods.

Ugh, why can't our planet have a small manageable population and a leader with a voice like Theo?
Anyway, I enjoyed this. I'd be interested to read about the different cultures and the more sadistic inhabitants. :3

Well, if I may take this as an excuse to be boringly obsessed with this world...
Actura's smaller population is due in part to the high number of sterile, inter-species couples that can't have children. There's also the high quality of healthcare and welfare, which leads to better birth control methods and so less babies.
Of course, there's also the Last Day, which wiped out something like 65% of the planet's population. That put a bit of a downer on things. :P
Someone like Lord Theo would be nice, of course. But on the bright side, we've never been at the point where without someone like Lord Theo, civilization would probably have sunk into extinction. Cometh the time, cometh the man.
The more sadistic inhabitants? Well, you've already met some of them. ;) But there's a few more to be introduced...

Hee hee. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. I am finding that the potential this world offers in all kinds of situations keeps surprising me. And that's without even considering the Voidtouched as well... *cackles*
