Victoria glanced back over her shoulder. Uvaltar was growing smaller in the distance, as her and her mage companion walked farther and farther away.
She looked over at Chold, the old man trying to squeeze one last bit of wine from his glass, which it turned out was the second he'd brought along. With his first smashed to dust on the road aways back, it didn't surprise her.
"Oh, not again!" The old mage groaned. "Oh, gods, why must thou be so CRUEL!?" He shouted, about to smash the glass just like the first.
"Oooh, what do we have here?" Asked a deep, gravely voice.
The Snake Maiden spun around, eyebrow raised.
A hideous creature stood before her, dressed in extravagent clothes. His cloak was embroidered with gold threads, and was pinned together at his shoulder with a golden bird pendant. His shirt underneath was silk, with a fine leather vest overtop. His leggings were smooth and crease free, and were tucked under his shining, pointed boots.
He himself was a far contrast to his clothing. His hair was long and red, reaching down to the small of his back. His hair line was receded slightly, and his brow was strong. Under it his golden eyes regarded the two travelers coldly. His crooked mouth grinned, and his sharp, jagged teeth shined brightly.
Beside him, was a similar looking creature, clad in fine armor instead of robes. His black hair was short and flat, and his eyes were dark as well.
"Humans, lord Kallovic." The armor wearing one said.
"I know that, fool!" The one adressed sent a slap across the taller one's face. Then, he looked back to Victoria and her drunken companion.
"What do you want, beast?" The warrior replied, gripping the hilt of her sword.
"Beast!?" Kallovic gasped. "I am Trade Prince Kallovic, lord of Tevirnta Province!"
"Never heard of you." Victoria replied flatly.
"Uh, my dearest wildflower," Chold interrupted, "Mayhaps I speak to you for a moment?"
"What is it?" Victoria hissed.
"This....man, must be of the Argonian Orcs! Their Trade Princes are a force to be reckoned with! Richer than any in this land, or in their own!" The drunkard explained, hurriedly.
"I don't care." Victoria replied. Then, she looked straight at Kallovic. "What do you want?" She repeated.
"Oh, I want YOU." Kallovic answered.
"What?" Victoria raised an eyebrow.
"Are you," Kallovic asked, "The famous Snake Maiden? A mutual 'friend' by the name of Caroline Wengel told me of your 'unique' talents." The Orc explained, gesturing with his hands.
(That wench!) Victoria thought, clenching her fists. "Sorry then," She spat, "I already have a job to finish."
"Oh, you misunderstand!" Chuckled the Orc. "I don't want you to murder some helpless man, which I'm told you're very skilled in doing," He said, "I want you as my slave."
"Oh, this does not bode well." Chold mumbled. "Uh, excuse me, fair and noble Kallovic!" He said, rushing to the orc, before Victoria could. "Perhaps a deal can be reached."
"Speak, poor." He said, adressing Chold with much less enthusiasim.
His bodyguard kept a close eye on Victoria.
"Well," Chold said, "If you let us complete our quest we'll be glad to discuss your, most generous of offers!"
"No." Kallovic refused. "I want the Snake Maiden in my thrall! Think about it! I'll have such a magnificently unique slave, and a good disposal for my enemies. Now, subit." He said, eyes focused on Victoria.
"Here's my answer." Replied the mercenary, charging, sword drawn.
The bodyguard charged as well, drawing a large battle axe. With a shout, he swung it in a wide arc. Victoria ducked, and sent her own blade at his stomach. The brute was faster than he looked, and easily sidestepped the blade.
He swung his axe straight down, at the Snake Maiden's back. Victoria rolled to the side, the axe crashing into the ground.
Siezing on her attacker's pause, Victoria sprung up, and charged him. The Orc struggled to uproot his buried axe. Instead, Victoria swung her blade, cleanly lopping off his head.
As the head rolled on the ground, Kallovic took a step back. "No, that's not possible! Noone should have beaten Kurdan!" He gasped, stumbling. He noticed Victoria's steady advance. "Now, let's not be hasty!" He begged.
"Now," Chold said, "The time of haste was reached when your unfortuanate companion tried to kill my dear friend."
"Prepare for death." Victoria growled.
"NEVER!" The Orc cried, producing a small dagger from his belt. He rushed forward, and stabbed.
The blade was easily knocked aside, and out of his hands. Then, Victoria thrust her knee upward, straight into his stomach. But, before Kallovic could fall, the Snake Maiden lifted him off the ground.
"Wait, what are you doing!?" He gasped, fearing the worst.
"This is what you wanted from me, correct?" She asked, before opening her mouth.
"NO!" Kallovic shouted, before Victoria pushed him down.
She bit down into his shoulders, mouth widening further to accept them. She swallowed, though she didn't care for the taste of his clothing. Nevertheless, she easily devoured his chest. She grabbed him by his belt, even as he kicked and struggled, and swallowed again. As he was forced farther and farther down, his struggle became more frantic and erratic. Victoria seemed undisturbed, swallowing down his stomach, and finally reaching his waist.
As her mouth crossed his waist, Victoria reached down to grip his pantlegs. Again she swallowed, mouth passing down half his thighs. Her stomach was beggining to show his form, and his shouting became more apparent. He cursed and shrieked, but Victoria simply swallowed down more of his legs, constraining his kicks. And again she swallowed, taking in his shins, mouth touching his boots. With a quick gesture, she easily removed them. Finally, she made the last swallow, and his feet travled down her throat as one last bulge.
Now, her massive belly hung out, reaching a good three feet ahead of her. It began to shake, with it's contents struggling.
"I'll rip you to pieces, you little bar wench! I'll feed you to my hogs, then butcher them, then light it all aflame!" Roared the Orc inside, as he frantically beat against the flesh surrounding him.
"There's no hope now." Victoria mocked, patting the large bulge. "Instead, you'll simply face digestion. I hope this is as you desired." She said, voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Ah, the wonders you can preform my wildflower!" Chold laughed, as he began walking. "Come now, the village isn't that much farther ahead."
Victoria sighed, and followed after. It was just one thing after another...

Well, this is my first post to this site, but as with everything I shall be posting, it's not really that good.
This is a fan tribute to Sibon13's Tales of Runia story, which I have become a bit fan of. (This does not affect Tales of Runia canon in anyway)
Victoria & Chold belong to Sibon13
Kallovic & Kurdan belong to me
