From the journal of William Barnes-Bates, naturalist at large:

This peculiarly intelligent tiger and the local villagers have a long and mutually beneficial relationship based, mostly, on ignoring each other. He leaves the villagers and their livestock alone, they in turn leave him to his own devices and stay out of certain portions of the jungle that he favors. Other than devouring those who hunt or otherwise irritate him – an entire English hunting party disappeared here last year, and though the natives are mum I suspect they disappeared down the tiger's gullet – he interacts with the village in two ways.

First, and unbelievable as it seems, there is the occasional local woman who graduates from admiring the handsome striped beast from afar to a more physical relationship with the cat. I learned of this when discovering a group of locals huddled around a slimy mass in the village square. It seems a jealous man harassed one of the tiger's lady-friends, and this coughed-up mass – largely clothing, with a few mostly-digested bones and the man's hair– was all that remained of him, left as a warning to others.

In addition, the tiger acts as their method of ultimate punishment for crimes. Should a murderer or bandit be caught, or even should a Western man arrive and make himself too unpopular, the unfortunate criminal will find himself staked out in the jungle. Bells will be rung, and after a look around to make sure no tricks are being played the tiger will have his meal.

This is the only time the tiger is known to force himself upon a human. Normally his inter-species affairs are consensual things, but upon finding some hapless person tied up in the forest a swipe of his paw will rip away any intervening clothing and he will have his way with them – female, his usual preference, or sometimes even the men. In the midst of it all the tiger will yawn and begin to swallow his victim. Perhaps he reasons that if the prey is half down his throat before the climax of it, it does not truly count as rape.

Or perhaps it simply amuses him. The villagers do not know, for it is only by paw-prints and certain other traces they know of this aspect of the tiger's behavior. The one time a villager lingered to try to witness it all, he did not return. The unusually deep footprints the tiger left afterward, weighed down by two humans worth of fat belly, convinced the rest of the locals that they do not really need to know.

I find I do not need to know either, and I am moving on to other researches and cooler climes before I irritate the tiger and earn the trip through its innards that I suspect Winchester and his hunters took recently. My interest in the species is not sufficient for me to wish to study its digestive system from the perspective of the digestee.

I was drawing this at Anthrocon and realized that the tiger's paw was in the way of seeing the intended boob-age. What to do, what to do...eh, I'll just assume the tiger isn't as picky about the gender of his lovers when he's banging someone he plans to eat, such as someone staked out by the villagers. Malken, who's been playing a M-M oriented lion pred at least as long as I've been in the furry community, was sitting across the table from me as I mentioned this. Needless to say he approved.
