Just something that popped into my head one night and since it didn't vanish by the time I got up, I felt compeled to write it down..... even though I'm in the middle of another story >.>
And before any of you wise guys out there start trying to tell this isn't a 'short' story, go look at some of my side stories and you'll understand why this is a short story :P

Interesting. What happened to the people in the town that weren't mages? The innocent bystanders?

The town had completely bought into the whole 'ritual' in order to keep the 'angry' spirits at bay, so there was little that could be done for them to avoid their fate, but those who weren't involved in any of what the town was doing, either became sisters for Crystal to play with or ended up being carried to the Queens home. Yes, I know I did not saw anything specifically about that, but who do you think Crystal dropped off at Ink's place? Most were girls who had come to the town to work in the bars as strippers and a few were some of the more sex addicted Mages :) Crystal may have shared in the elementals anger, but she was not blind
