Knowing Stank, he's probably prepared and knows something is up because Stank is... I don't know. But continuing action is probably going to lead to him figuring it out. Then again, he might give himself up freely just for that.

I still think coming on too strong could lead to suspicion, and it'll be easier to casually ask about his hidden equipment (what a loaded phrase that is) if you present yourself as a random friend rather than someone attracted to him totally out of the blue like this.
