Here's another one I finally finished from my pile of story scraps. A group of friends buys a haunted house with strong opinions of the kind of people it wants living there. A bit darker than many of mine, but not too much so.
I actually found myself wanting to read more, lol. Yes, it might have been non-consensual, but only marginally. And that house... I have to wonder where the wood came from. Ya know, like if someone had the bad idea of cutting down the grove of Mother Nature herself and well... *hand waves*
Loved the concept of the house and how you had the two girl's minds suspended while their bodies were too young to remember/deal with things. Would have been hell to be trapped in bodies incapable of walking, talking, etc. for growing up, lol.
Loved this, even though... less romance than I normally like.
I'm glad you liked the story. I honestly hadn't thought much about the origin of the house, it was just part of the initial inspiration for this. This was one that I started and set aside sometime in 2001 because trying to write the girl's mental regression was more work than I felt like doing at the time. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.
Slow mental regression isn't a cheap plot trick to pull off, lol. I know there have been things in my stories I have "side-stepped" because they were a lot more than I wanted to mess with at the time. I don't need the origins of the house and the fact it was left up to my imagination, well is <3

Aaaaargh. I tried to read it, but unfortunately I'm in too lazy a mood. XP
