She's pretty sad, it looks to me.

Just remember; not all stories end up with just endings. Some of the most important ones are the ones that inspire you to do better than the characters in the story.

Yes, she's sad. And it's true, not all stories have good endings. Ugh. That's especially true with Dan Abnett. But I also know from experience (a friends, not mine) that bullying like that over time transforms sadness into hate and anger. Just not always at the right people, unfortunately.
