Goldsmith's apprentice Cara has a crush on Lienne, the daughter of the local general store's owner. But it's important that she keep it to herself. For one thing, there's no way the daughter of a wealthy family will have any interest in her. And for another, Lienne is a slimegirl.
So it would be very bad if her feelings made it out to anyone else... much less the whole town...

This story stands in direct contrast to the tone of the last one, being generally cutesy and fluffy. It's also much more developed, so I'm much happier with it.

Ooh, I like the way you write the dialogue between the two.
I might have missed it, but did Lienne wear any clothing and is she transparent?

Thanks! :D I'm quite fond of dialogue in general, so I'm glad it came across well.
Lienne is slightly translucent, and doesn't normally wear any clothing, though she sometimes adorns herself regardless (e.g., the birthday bracelet).
