Okay, a pony with wings getting devoured by a pony without wings while flying... how does that happen? This looks cute. You're a great artist.

Both are pegasi, for one thing. Additionally, the prey could have noticed that their feet were engulfed in the pred's gullet, and started to fly away, only to find that the throat was too strong and pulled them slowly, inexorably, to their demise.
I didn't see the wings on the pred. You do have a point about the feet though.
