Preying on humans about the same size as you - or, if you're lucky, even a bit bigger - can be tricky. They are not stupid, humans. If you don't have or want a method to lure them to your embrace, then you must take them by surprise and strength.
Of course, they still flail and scream and bunch up and get themselves into all sorts of awkward pickles, but that's the fun of it. You are an experienced predator, and the human body is just an assemblage of levers - if you wished you could make a puppet of them. But it can be even more enjoyable to embrace their gawky attempts to save themselves, to pin them into inconvenient poses, to bite and taste and stoke their panic and your own hunger until they are broken, and their eyes almost beg you to take them...

CrazedPhantom Jumped in on this slot with their character Jaderas Saheel, a midnight feline demon, I believe. Not the kind of fellow you want to see or hear if you're walking around at night. But then again you won't see or hear them. Not until it's too late.

Most of the problem is foreshortening. I tested it out on the ground to be certain. It's awkward, but so am I, so it worked perfectly! :D

Okay... what slots are still left open? *drools over this one* I might have an idea now, thanks to this submission. Damn, that is a very interesting descrip of what same size would go through without a LOT powers/abilities/tech for subduing an equal sized prey. Hmmmmm...

Oh that poor man is in for quite a bad time; Jade is one sadistic demonic feline, that is for sure. If tears come so easily with one little bite to split the skin on the shoulder the remainder will be pure torture!
That aside .. your words beneath the upload are quite something to ponder when confronted to same size predators... Very nice and in depth read for a small area included.
And of course, Cubi's evil cat demon is very accurately demonstrated xD
