Ah, poor little Josie! Thankfully, Amy isn’t going to swallow her; Josie sort of belongs to Yasa, so Amy is only borrowing her. But she most certainly intends to have some fun with the tiny girl while she has her…

While we’re here, let’s give a bit of an introduction to Amy Nyel! Amy is a particularly friendly and playful Paeran; she’s exceptionally easy to get along with, though her ravenous nature is a considerable hurdle in befriending her, if you happen to be a human. Amy’s a real sweetie, but to her, humans are food and she doesn’t like going for more than a couple of days without having at least one. As is Paeratopa’s nature, death isn’t a permanent condition, so Amy sees nothing wrong with indulging herself frequently and casually gobbling up shrunken humans like little candies. It’s just the rare instances (such as this one) where she’s perfectly content to just have a taste and a little teasing before she sends her tiny toy on their way.

Rendered in DAZ Studio, with postwork in Photoshop.

I like zoom-in bubble. One of my favorite ways to deal Macro/Micro scenes.

I don't know why I haven't bothered with one sooner! I usually set up all those little details like the prey's expression and stuff, but it's always too small to see or behind things.

That's a fundamental difficulty with Macro/Micro work. Many artists either zoom-in too far to get a good look at the whole pred, or zoom-out too far to make out the details of the prey.

Or they solve the problem by using zoom-bubbles. Like you did.
