Well, that was enjoyable read for the most part, but it was a letdown when Lion didn't get to eat Kate as well.

Pretty good story, but the dialogue seemed very robotic and awkward. Is there a particular reason none of the characters used contractions?

It probably just did not occur to me to use them. It is a fault in my writing that I have trouble making emotional, expressive characters.

I actually have the opposite problem. I write dialogue with so many cliches and casual turns of phrase it sounds ridiculous.

Lions make great preds, which can be seen by the many cartoons and games with lion vore.
