It's a dragon thing. You wouldn't understand. There's also no telling if the relationship will last. The Gold knew perfectly well that there was a good chance Mirabet would eventually come to despise him for doing what she asked.

so if he checks up to make sure the chromatic dragons he eats in general are good or bad beforehand, how would he make it up to a "good" one if he only finds out when they are halfway down? X3

I myself would probably prefer something nice like a giant prey animal instead. that way he keeps gems and I get something I'd enjoy X3

You should write a story about that hypothetical good 'colored' dragon. Such a thing would probably have a very hard time of it.

I really like this story. IT has romance, world building, nice dialogue and a good eating scene.
I think it has a pretty good buildup.

I do like writing about the gold. He's a nice guy who just happens to eat people. And dragons.
