It's very, very rare to actually see a good chromatic dragon indeed. And he's surprisingly likable! Not only does this story immediately immerse you in the world you've crafted AND features a return of your likable Gold dragon, but now we get a new character whom I really enjoyed reading about, AND who's backstory is detailed!

I wish more stories on the site were like this, because this is really well done.

It's odd, sometimes a story pops more or less fully formed into my head. This one was written from start to finish in one day. I'm not sure what inspired it but something sure did.

What a lovely story! I wonder what he would say to someone who asked him to eat them?

Well, he has his reputation to consider, but he might be convinced to do so.

Well I mean if they wanted it, it wouldn't be wrong to do so would it?

Imagine someone came up to you and said "Please kill me." Even if you could legally do it, people would look at you in horror if you did. If he knew you reformed it'd be another story, but you would have to question the sanity of someone who wanted to be eaten.

Good point. Sometimes I forget that reformation ain't normal.

Quite the story, picturesque ending.

Still my favorite out of your tales. I admit I'm a softie, but I do like it when things have a happy ending.
