Part 2 of a commission I order from the talented acerok.
As Nina gulps down her prize, AngelGryph can only watch in disbelief as she is beaten once again by a princess. Guess gorging on royalty isn't all it's cracked up to be. Especially when the royal in question is able to tackle a goddess. Thanks acerok!

I love feral prey

AngelGryph isn't quite feral, as she's just one of Angelissa's transformations, but she does have a degree of wildness to her in this form.

Haha, turnabout is fair play after all!

Indeed. It's only fair that a royal gives her a taste of her own medicine, as AngelGryph will gorge on as many princesses as possible. So it's only fair.

Kinda wondering where Nina's brooch went but this is great nevertheless. =D

Probably popped off, as gryphon dinner isn't exactly a light meal (unless, of course, you factor in the divine nature of her). But glad you like it.

angel gryph needs to get ate more often

Agreed. She gorges too often, so a little turnabout is fair, right?

indeed

Maybe Angelissa should try another form to take down Nina. Clearly, her Gryphon form is not enough, considering the number of times Nina has conquered that Gryphon form. Nina basically has things down to a habit at this point.

Yeah, but would a dragon fair much better against someone who can take on a goddess? (granted it would probably take longer for Nina to gobble down Angeldragon, but in the end I think the result would be the same xD)

Not to mention that Ryu, her lover, is a dragon, so Nina probably knows how to deal with that as well.

It's a lost cause for Angelissa, she just can't win against a mage who can take on a goddess head-on and win. After all, knowing what Nina faces in-game, a gryphon is cakewalk compared to vampires and archmages.

Eh, taking out a member of a given race, be they vampires, archmages, or even deities, isn't overly impressive unless they actually show feats to make them notable. I haven't played Breath of Fire, so I don't exactly have a reference to the power of the verse.

Considering that the said goddess (Tyr/Myria) in one game pitted two powerful dragon races against each other to the death for kicks, forcing the protagonist to kill his own sister, spawned a fake, demonic god for people to worship to destroy the world in another, then eradicated an entire benevolent race (which didn't fight back, as they knew their strength could destroy the world) in the third because she wanted to "preserve" the world (meaning stay in power), even forcing two of the main characters to kill their "brother" who she had brainwashed, that's pretty major. So, given the large amount of damage she's done over the span of three games, destroying a goddess (which finally happened in the third game) of that magnitude is a pretty big deal, especially for a fairly sheltered royal like Nina. Breath of Fire is different than other RPGs due to its root nature (religion, as every final boss is a god/goddess/demon), so tackling such beings is considered suicidal at best, let alone being victorious.

I'm more referring to feats of raw power, rather than craftiness. It seems, though, that the race that can destroy the world seems to put Breath of Fire at planetary level.
