Nope, I don't think they're going to be anything other than getting turned into cutie magic/padding for Gabby. Though that'd be fun, getting stuck in there and being Cutie-Mark Consultation-maniacs in her, occasionally zapping out to do... things with her. After all, they need some friends in her too.
