Happy Halloween everyone! Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I wanted to write something to celebrate it.

The story is just a small one, but it's about a nameless individual stumbling into a spider's web. The web turns out to belong to a drider that resides in the woods. Her name is Cantha, the Weaver, a devious and cold woman who sees everyone, especially humans, as food and nothing more. Most of my stories have a sense of emotion or passion, but for this short story, the only emotion one should feel is fear and horror (cuz Halloween of course).

I'll be completely honest, and say October has been a bit hard on me, so I don't feel that this is my best writing, but I hope it is to the reader's liking anyways.

Great story. Perfect and appropriate for the time it was created. Your level of detail captivates, making the reader feel as if they are literally there, being the victim of your predators. The points of view described within the words, giving depiction to Cantha's world, paint a very vivid picture of everything that is taking place. It felt as if I was being swallowed whole by Cantha myself. The relentless teasings, her pushing her body up against the nameless male victim, and then hearing she already had three awaiting her in her web after the wayward man had lost himself as nothing more than drider fat. So cruel yet so sensual and fun to read, I love her personality, the perfect amount of hedonism and the perfect amount of sexy. Enjoyed every second of it.

Thanks for making another high quality story once again Tyst!

Ah, thank you so much Joe! I feel you give me too much credit, but I'm glad you feel that way regardless. I try to give my characters as much life as possbile through mere words. It's good to know it amounts to something for some people. Again, thank you so much, such nice comments put me at a loss for words other than a bunch of "Thank you's".
