When the slender, turquoise-haired little bunny-girl went in the oven, her skin was a pleasant mix of lavender and white. Now, she's been cooked to perfection, radiating a crisp, golden-brown, ready to serve <3
Valisrea, the three-headed Cerberus had the pleasure of cooking Anoixi, the well-toned bunny-girl. Rabbits are quick, and can dart right out of danger, skillfully evading most predators in the moment without much hassle. Too bad for Anoixi, bunnies tend to fall prey to traps much more readily.
With her safely trapped, Valisrea simply had to tie her new meal up nice and snug, stuff and baste her supple body, and gag her with a festive candy-apple. It was Halloween, after all!
Poor Anoixi was then finally slid in the oven, whole and alive. Some time later, the oven's timer made the much-anticipated ring, signaling that the savory hunk of bunny-meat was finally done! It took a long, slow-cook at a low temperature to maintain the bunny's elegant features, but it was oh-so worth the hassle~
All three of Valisrea's mouths are going to be well fed this night! (^Q^)(030)(>v<)

I'm SUPER excited with how this pic turned out, especially surrounding the circumstances.
This was the first request on my last Halloween stream, won by SeraphimKitsune! Over an hour into this drawing, my computer locked up on a Blue-Screen... of DEATH D: When opening the project again afterwards, I had lost ALL the linework, as well as some of the constructions.
FUCK MY ASS SIDEWAYS.
I simply hadn't saved regularly enough throughout the stream, and since a BSOD hadn't occurred in ages, I grew too trustworthy of my computer's stability. It was major-league disappointing, but I knew I couldn't give up, and everyone watching the stream was really supportive ^ - ^
Luckily, I have a decent visual memory, and could remember a lot of what was drawn. That saved a lot of time when redrawing things, so it wasn't THAT bad.
I finished the drawing up to the linework in the stream itself, but added all the coloring and shading the day after. I was surprisingly motivated to draw, so I properly colorized this pic, as well as the next one <3
This piece was drawn with the help of references using the program "Design Doll". I wouldn't have been able to pull off the angle for Valisrea without it. I highly recommend looking it up for any of you fellow aspiring artists out there :3

Just like there are different ways to enjoy vore, so too is the same for cooking vore.
Like you said some enjoy the after part where the pray has already been cooked and are now nothing more the delicious meat. (Dead or alive is up to you the viewer/creator)
Some, like me, enjoy the durring part where you go from person to meat, prepped before being pushed into an oven to cooked.

It's more the idea of being cooked that appeals to me, personally.
The vore fantasy is highly idealized for the most part. For example, unrealistically stretchy bellies and maws to accommodate swallowing someone whole, or prey being able to breathe in vacuum-packed spaces.
I like to think that somehow, each of my characters can survive the ordeal, to be devoured another day once more, even when it's evident that my characters have been fatally consumed~
Like Uri mentions also, I love the objectification associated with cooking, and most other types of vore. Being treated like an object that warrants no consideration for its well-being, grants that objectified person permission to let go and accept their inevitable fate, freeing them of certain inhibitions they'd fight to retain otherwise. BDSM has a lot of the same objectifying elements, which is why I also enjoy it as much as I do.
The two scenarios you mention, either being cooked to death, or just being cooked to the point of submission and deliciousness, both have their own unique appeal in my mind. On the one hand, there's life-threatening peril and its associated excitements. On the other, possible implied willingness on the part of the prey, or simply the strong possibility that they'll survive the encounter. Practically any to it can be fun in its own right :3
Ultimately, some of my kinks I can't completely rationalize, I just know I really like it. To each their own, after all ^ v ^
