Ghost roast done :P. Tried some tricks here and there with it for some fun lighting, though I wish I could have done more with gengar. Think i'd have needed to mess with the line work itself to do it though sadly. Hopefully the commission liked it :P!

I certainly like it and do actually wonder what would happen to her.

She'd likely be a Yamask, free from the Perverts like us that want to eat her.
...Though I have seen a couple of tasty lookin' cofagrigus around...

My head-canon is that when my trainer dies, she'll end up a Misdreavus.

Ooh, a ghost-witch?
I'll expect you'll be learning how to make a proper brew very soon then. After all, why would your Gengar stop at just one new friend?

Heh, my thought had been fire girl ghost thing in my head : ).

hehe, like an anthro litwick? Sexy thought.

more like a cross between mega gengar and an infrit from final fantasy with boobs.

I say she'll be a misdravious :)

A good guess. You and I shared a similar mind-set on this one.

The commission looks great, exactly the way I wanted. Shigeko turned out very sexy in her pose, and I just love seeing that moment when the spit comes through my character.
The Mega Gengar did turn out very good regardless of your worries, and I love its use, as Decideueye, Mismagius/Misdreavus/Mega Gengar are sort of the lynch-pins of my team.

Sableye's always been my lynch pin personally, especially in Moon.
Never let me down, and legitimately Solo'd several parts of the game for me.
Ghost types are amazing.

I found Sableye underwhelming this time around, but he has his merits. Given that I tend to take a bludgeon to the game, tactically speaking, that is no surprise.

You'd be suprised just how effective sableye can be with fowl play, Knock off, shadow sneak and a Z-powered Power gem.
that last one is surprisingly good. seriously, that alone would have kept Nox off the bench, but the rest of her utility made her indispensable.

There's only one pokemon out there to choose: https://jim-sugomi-sketches.tumblr.com/image/153797477821 :P.
But as far as ghost go I always liked honedge. Hard to kill, high atk. And he looks awesome. Combined with a gyrados and some sorta fire type... Lets face it single player mode you probably could beat the game with those three ^^:. Though finding sun/moons pokemon in the initial area to actually put up a fight for once.
I tend to prefer the classics for the rest, though liked haunter better then gengar (its like the geodude line, WHY WOULD HE GROW LEGS!! HE'S A FLYING BOLDER!!) Haunters got flying detaching limbs, far superior to a tiny guy.

Personally, I really like Golem. It's weird, but in a good way. Graveler can go suck a taint, though.
Aegislash (I assume you meant Honedge's evo) is a pretty good Pokemon with an amazing shiny (one of the only ones worth it in my eyes), though I will admit is has some easy counters (Mega Lopunny, anyone?). I do feel it's Special attack stat is under-looked, though, as it is just as insane as its physical. Seriosuly, when Pokebank comes around, try one.

I like the look of graveler (think this thing spinning at yah from 120 feet in the air, then picture golem running at you from 120 feet on stubby little legs...) and Aegis slash seems a downgrade visually from doublade. I never go defense in pokemon, why would I want a shield :P, i like alot of the second evo's of things more then the third in pokemon. I mean squirtle's line does it right, he gets bigger and more ornate and powerful looking as he goes till he's a tank with a tri-gun.
So yeah, if I can get some high end attacks thru a trainer, and considering how easy all pokemon games have been, I've thought hard about just not evolving but refinding the move sets I want, is just too much effort so I reluctantly take the slacker route and let them evolve. Sadly my metapod evolved cause I hit x instead o' y to cancel the evolve :P. Darn it, was funny killing all the trainers with a tackle based metapod. I wanted my lvl 99 metapod haha. Ah well lvl 99 butterfree for the mauling win.
(Also haven't even bothered finishing x/y and with my art and final fantasy xv i'm still only to the school in the first town for "training" in moon. I just joke its taking slasher mei a long time to kill all the students off.)

Aegislash was an regular member of the team as well, thanks to the island scan. It's an unquestionably good pokemon, though because of its constant shift between ridiculously high defense and "Painfully easy to kill" offense stages, it's also a matter of timing your attacks just right, due to its speed.
Very powerful, and a real wall breaker, but also takes some practice to know how to us properly.

Can't help but agree with you on the lighting, Jim. Really feels like a dark manor with the Gengar and the fire as the only sources.
Great job, Jim, she looks absolutely delectable.
(huh, for some reason this didn't send the first-time.)

love any kind of unusual roast, and ghost roast definitely counts for that ^_^
