Xhargor is a Wyrmfiend, a creature somewhat related to the Edaxor; like them, it is born of wyrm blood and thus has supernatural powers coming from eldritch dragon magick, added to a powerful body, a cunning mind and vicious appetites.

This reminds me of an old idea of making a monstrous predators that grows an odd affection for one prey, while remaining just as ruthless and merciless towards everyone else...
