Heh I think it depends on what game rules your under. If you went really hard core she'd don the armor, walk home to her husband and children and then it'd turn out that all of them and the house, and the bed, and the armour are all mimics and they had this set up for the last 20 years since she was 3 :P.
This actually reminds me of a character concept I had for the vore addition to DnD(or maybe it was Pathfinder, I can never get the two straight) somebody made. The idea was a a fairly small girl, wearing an incredibly oversized jacket, and the jacket was actually a mimic.
Behind black hole wave cannons that shoot repeatedly thru the target by passing thru the end of the universe and circling back around, while everyone else in your setting has swords :). But you know, those are alot rarer.

Oh, neat concept, I've always loved Mimics, their one of the most interesting fantasy creatures, and any variations are usually amazing.

I think mimic's might have one of the highest kill count versus number of monsters in the series so a totally legitimate statement :P.

Nah then she;d be eaten by a coffee cup :P. Do like they added into the audio logs that for "some reason the mimics really had it in for cups."
