Nope. Of the...fourteen, I think? Z-sister stories I've written, they've been the predators all of once, and even in one of those they were prey first. My goal was to create characters that I could shorthand into various prey situations without having to go back to the drawing board each time. And hey, it makes it easier for them to show up with other peoples' predatory characters too.

After another two or three months, she realized that Julia wasn't coming home. She mourned, a bit, but being an angel she processes emotions differently than humans and was able to come to terms faster than you or I. Given that she has a lifespan of centuries, if not interrupted, she has to be able to.
Dani lived in Pierre for a while longer, farming and working at a general store (good thing she doesn't need to sleep!) until she had earned enough that she make a new life for herself in San Francisco when she sold the homestead. That worked well until the earthquake, which made her homeless. She spent a few years bumming around a desert town, where it was illegal for locals to acknowledge her angelic nature and referred to ehr as Erika. In the 1970s she ended up going back to school with loans available under the Demi-Human Integration Act. She earned her accounting degree. For the past thirty years she has run a CPA business out of Telluride, Colorado, where she is a member of Kiwanis and volunteers with the Girl Scouts; she's a real pillar of the community. Every now and then she remembers Julia fondly and sadly, just as she remembers the three spouses that came before Julia and whom she outlived.
