A continuation of my previous story, A Lamia's Tail.
N'Shaundra and her pet, Zach (previously named Tyst before I changed it, the unrealistic name bothered me for some reason when rereading it, so changed it to a real one because Tyst was a Skyrim character I made and I can't unsee it) have been living together for several months after the conclusion of A Lamia's Tail.
After N'Shaundra had abducted the man and forced him to be her slave until he begged her to devour him, the two somehow, some way, ended up falling in love with one another. Said love ended up preventing the lamia's digestive system to function properly when she ingested her pet, sparing him a rather morbid end, unlike her other catches. This allowed them more time to bond, their relationship growing into something more, something closer as they discovered that they filled the void in each other's lives.
The story continues after a few months, N'Shaundra now capable of translating her old lamian alchemy texts from her home village, leaving a new world of possibilities to unfold.
It's possible that their love will only deepen from here on out, but not if outside forces have anything to say about it...
