After class can be exhausting, but if one has friends by their side, then any situation can be improved. Such is human thinking. Sharing ideas, spending time together, getting to know each other, and becoming important to each other, this is what a friend is. One of these things excluded, she had many friends in the past.

But she wasn't important.

For years and years, what had seemed like generations, she had put up with it. "The Forgotten." That feeling of suddenly losing your importance, being walked away from, being ignored. She had put up with it all her life.

"Does anyone feel like I do?" Was an old staple. "I exist, please don't ignore me. I'm right here." The calling of a teenager to the void, asking to be paid attention to. But no one ever listened.

She'd had many boyfriends in the past. They treated her well when the two were alone, but whenever anyone had entered the room...

Take, for instance, the one time she got caught having sex. Her boyfriend, at the time, was having an understandably wonderful time. She could feel the pressure building, and the heat getting hotter, when suddenly a door opened.

She knew immediately that was the end of that.

As soon as the door opened, her boyfriend who had been so close to launching a hot, sticky mess immediately calmed down and wandered his eye to the next person in the room, and started holding a pleasant conversation. No matter how she screamed at him, slapped him, or ran off to cry, he never even noticed her.

Years went by, and she gradually became adjusted to this lifestyle. Truly, she was a person on paper, getting into a college and facing a bright future, constantly having to remind her teachers who she was when she was called in. The only way people could remember who she was. Indirectly.

She managed to retain her friends, however. Although they were just a mirror for which to reflect ideas upon, they became important to her, even though she would never be important to them. She found herself walking among them and listening pleasantly to their conversations after school, even contributing when the conversation dulled, and leading the topic in that direction. If not, they would simply talk over her.

What happened on this particular day, however, was an unexpected turn of events that only happened perhaps once or twice a year. Three on a bad year.

Curse her rotten luck.

A request by someone who wished to remain anonymous, and the last true commission from the "I Fucked Up the Finances" series. As for why the commission is mostly in Japanese...

She lives in Japan. Of course they speak Japanese.

But for those that don't speak Japanese (And those that do), here is what I was going for in order:

"Damn kids, always trashing the park."

Don't worry about her, though. It seems her boyfriend noticed and is on his way to make sure the timeline retains her presence, even if it keeps forgetting she's there at all.

The limited-edition "I Fucked Up the Finances" series is over, but you can still commission me if you feel the want for a hardy but terrible artist like myself. It might take awhile like this did, but if I'm interested, I'll pick up the phone.
