I only ask for it because you created it, it does not seem right for me to make an image and upload it without your permission, I think it is disrespectful for someone to do such things without asking the creators. As it happens with some video reactions on youtube, a youtuber reacts to an animation that took even years and does not give credit or ask the creators.
I think you only need permission to upload something if the thing you're uploading is a picture I've made or maybe using my characters for a commission/request that you want from someone. I think it's okay if you want to use my characters for a fan art.
