With page 6 of “The Centaur’s Protective Womb,” we finally get to the start of the unbirthing everyone’s been waiting for.

We’ll be posting the first 13 pages here for free over the course of the next few weeks, and we hope that stands alone well as a fun centaur UB-themed short comic. However, the only way we can afford to keep doing these is to charge for the the full 41-page comic. That will let you see to see how the romance turns out between Rachel and Selene and see some more fun UB scenes.

The full comic is available in high-resolution PDF here:
https://gumroad.com/products/NKxji/

Now available on Amazon Kindle devices too:
https://www.amazon.com/Centaurs-Protective-Womb-Groblek-ebook/dp/B078QRC5SS/

(Note: Tags are for the full comic)
Back cover plot summary for the full comic:
Selene has rescued her friend Rachel from an arranged marriage to a wealthy man she despises, but now there’s only one place they’ll be safe from his men. Just past the western forest lies the lands of the Centaurs, where human trespassers disappear into the wombs of the mares, to be remade into foals for the Herd.
Selene is gambling everything on the hope that her family legend about favors owed to them by the Herd are true, and that they will be allowed to shelter there in safety. But Selene has one big secret that she keeps from Rachel even as they flee for their lives. She has fallen deeply in love with her friend, but dares not reveal her forbidden attraction to Rachel, for fear of rejection.
Read on to see how their time among the centaurs will change both Selene and Rachel in ways they never imagined, and how Selene’s love for her friend blossoms into full flower in this kinky romance comic by Groblek and Lady Drasami!

I'm afraid not, but we're not planning to stop selling it anytime soon either, so hopefully you'll be in a position to buy it eventually.

I love this... but I'll give some constructive comments anyway: minor changes I'd have considered in the physical part of the story.

The centaur "freezing" power comes out of the blue and seems to cause more story problems than it solves (like removing his armor while "frozen", him not suffocating and turning blue while encased in "ice", and the fact that the "ice" melts exactly when it needs to). Centaurs are strong, fast, and heavy. A unarmed human (even in protective armor) has no chance against one: they can outrun you, trample you, or kill you with a single, well-placed kick. Therefore they don't need to tie you up or immobilize you: there's no point in running from them.

From a story standpoint you'd probably have to have a throwaway character actually suffer that fate (try to escape and be easily run down) to demonstrate.

Once that's done, a centaur would be likely to unbirth you by making it your least-unpleasant option. You'd stand there and cower while she told you exactly what she expects you to do (and her fellow centaurs assist.)

The victim in this page should be frightened out of his mind, but we don't get to see much of that because he's frozen. There's a delicious opportunity missed here: the moment when Rowan backs up to him and then slowly lifts her tail.

Nonetheless... love this and very nice job! Thanks for sharing these first pages with us!

Thanks for the comments!

I’d originally envisioned the “freezing” power as just a magical paralysis, but when Lady Drasami added the effects, she used ice to represent it, and I liked the way it looked.

I like the idea of the kind of scene you’re describing, but there we run into the constraints of the medium. To do that justice, we’d have had to stretch the scene out for several more pages, which would have given it a lot more emphasis in the story than it really warrants. This story is really focused on Rachel & Selene, the bounty hunter is just there to demonstrate the trouble they’re in and what the centaurs can do for and to them.

That makes sense. Essentially that this is the demonstration (we can capture and unbirth you, and we get pregnant that way), so I can see not wasting extra panels here and the "paralysis" shortcut. Easy to forget just how long one drawing takes!
