*sigh* Yup. Who else is getting a really foreboding feeling about this. :(

We need to tell Anid that if trouble shows up he should find someplace to hide and should something happen to us, to run back Marcus and Floria to tell them what happened. We should also tell Faera that if it looks like the Masked Ones use this cave then we should start thinking about ways to safely collapse it.

Have Myla go in first as she will have an easier time seeing what may be down there should something have made a residency there, perhaps we might be able to find something that belonged to someone, that way if scent is still on said object, then we may be able to identify the traitor.

Weapons out, tell Anid to run back and alert the others at the first sign of danger. Its hard to tell how recent that hole is, but odds are that the masked ones may have dug it in order to have easier access to the village. Start brainstorming ideas on ways to collapse parts of the ruins as well.

Ah.. the Floria look-a-like mouse! it's almost like the arpg world can't stand the party not having her around being a dork.

If this stuff is old, it's possible that this is the original pathway that helped the masked ones invade the mouse village.. or it might be for transporting "goods" between locations without risking wild animals attempting to pick off a free mousey meal. Ask Anid which direction this tunnel is pointing, since it might be possible to evacuate the sick and injured into/through it if it were safe so a hostage situation wouldn't happen. But of course.. investigating the tunnel in detail may have to come later if there were any signs of something coming through recently.

I also totally forgot about the possibility of a traitor, like.. one that could be entering in information on the party so that someone could come in through here to read it and know about the ambush-y preparations.. but no one seemed against you entering this place besides the elder, and no one else can really read the runes except for the elder. But then again, this place is through his bedroom.

Sabotage from the spies perhaps? Seems as though whomever wants to help these masked ones wants them to come in through the Ruins and nab the sky queen(s).?

We should block this up.
